@dant71286 Hey, that is the sign "PRETEND". It can also mean create or even fantasy in some contexts. For example, you could possibly use it for "fantasy football". :) Hope that helped!

@vr4jay not necessarily.... there are ASL mouth morphemes- certain mouth shapes for specific signs.

@vr4jay Your instructor probably doesn't want you to mouth because when you do, it might take away from your facial expressions a bit when you're learning to sign, and if you're mouthing words your mouth is unavailable to use for grammar. I agree with charbabe1986 that there are mouth morpemes used in ASL, but she's not using them in some parts of the song and definitely singing some lines of the song while signing. Maybe she's so into the song that it just 'happens' when she's terpin' the song?

I love this vid. Your signing is amazing. A couple of suggestions. The lovely bow in your hair is a bit distracting, as is the shirt you're wearing. I think you might already know this, since in some of your other vids your clothes are darker and a much better background.

Also, sometimes your hand is in front of the wall, rather than the door, & it loses contrast. It's a little distracting as well. Just somethings to keep in mind..
