You should have seen the one at the Alamo. We had over 20,000 people show up to that one. Between 2000-4000 people showed up at the Alamo, and the rest were flow over at the Hemisphere Plaza. Yeah it was a HUGE turn out.
A grassroots movement, if you don't count the constant, around the clock promotion these events have received from Fox News for several weeks, to say nothing of the constant promotion from entrenched talk radio, the Republican Party, and conservative blogs. Except for that, it's grass roots.
Agree Z200... These were supposedly to oppose new taxes (TEA -taxed enough already) but it makes no sense to me seeing as how we've had a federal tax cut.

I don't think the RNC, GOP ect.. had much to do w/ this event I went to.
It largely was the local FAIRTAX group and the big am radio station in town.

There was one last sat. that pulled in about 3,000.
