  • they should of had shane lechler in here

  • Most of the good kickers in the NFL where soccer players. Robbie Gould, kicker for the bears, could have been pro in soccer, but he decided to be a kicker in college, and Sebastian Janikowski ties the record for longest field goal.

  • Why the fuck is Reggie Bush teaching David Beckham? Why not Reggie Hodges?

  • "are you sure you can't kick it this way??"

    .....

    "I guess whatever works..."

    hahahah

  • Why is a running back teaching kicking?

  • better punter than a runningback.

  • if beckham punted the ball sideways in a game, he would get blocked all the time

  • All you AF haters watch this it explains it simply for you!

  • isnt reggie bush a running back?

  • You can't punt a ball like that in a game, considering the fact that the long snapper hikes the ball straight not sideways.

  • If Beckham joined the nfl as a KOS or a punter, I wonder if or how many soccer fans would tune into watch that team play?

  • @GackSlayer I doubt many would. Australia rules football players have been around in the NFL for a good few years and yet the NFL doesn't even raise any interest as anything more than a passing novelty.

  • @taipan185 Yeah, i know about Sav Rocca and others like him, but David Beckham is one of those people everyone knows. Pretty big.

  • I thought He's going to say "Fuuck!" at 0:32

  • BASKETBALL BITCHES

  • use logic.... you sound like an arrogant asshole.. considering its 40 seconds on a play clock which is guess what less than a minute. and to make a decsion and soccer the decision is not as complicated as it is in football.. I have watched soccer before.. football is wrapped up in math if you got your head out of you ass you could see that

  • @crj19851985 Yes, But in American Football, You know where all your teammates are going to be at all times and you can plan before every attack. In Soccer, Your teammates could be busy blocking a defender or trapped offside and you have make a decision in half a second. Also, play never stops, so you can't form a plan before every attack. It's almost all improv. Soccer is unpredictable and tense. That's what makes it the biggest game in the world!

  • @Headcheezonium You can also pretend to be injured and cry like a little girl lol

  • @tjthegreat7 You mean like the NBA?

  • @Headcheezonium haha yeah that is also true but usually it's soccer players that do that

  • @Headcheezonium

Don't be so sure that in American Football, you'll always know where your teammates are and where they're going. No plan survives contact with the enemy, as they say. If it were really that easy, offense would dominate the game. Obviously, the defense has other plans...

  • Beckham basically just explained how to kick a gridiron ball after playing it for a few minutes. Gridiron players had been kicking it wrong fro years. Gridiron..low skilled, basic, catch and run sport. Football..high skilled, technical, chess on grass.

  • @warriorprince1010 I got me good there. It was the last bit that gave it away.

  • soccer players usually are pretty awesome kickers, just sayin

  • see honestly, and obviously i love football more, because i'm american, but I love futbol too! USA MEN AND WOMEN'S National team, and viva chivas usa and ny redbull! but to me futbol is a very excitting game, only thing is my reasons for liking futbol is very different than football! IN MY !!OPINION!! I feel futbol is more finese, and football! is more hard nose, physical! don't get me wrong, i'm sure there's physicality in futbol, but in soccer i love the finesse side, the technique of goalkeep

  • But it's all the time. All 90 minutes. Everytime you have the ball at your feet, you have to have that instinct to know whats best for your team. A quarterback has more time to think about what he's going to do than a center midfielder in footie does.

  • nice beck!

  • Beckham is fuuny. He always wants to kick it that way

  • ur all saying american football stops to much...you ever stop and think why ? maybe cause it involves more strategy the games are completely different american football involves strategy from both sides of the ball also its a complete team sport down from the line to the quarterback to the running back all have to be one and know what each one job is to be successful it takes tons and tons of practice and studying to reach this thats why you dont see alot of games per week..one of the reasons

  • @nateonyourplate you don't see many games per week because to play 2 or 3 games a week would tear up the body and leave the players dragging mid season. Much like if you watch the NHL mid season the players are just going through the motions

  • @samauripizzacats101 thats why i said 1 of the reasons

  • @nateonyourplate Football players are given minutes to think of the next play but soccer players have to have their play planned out in seconds.

  • @r0ze1h same they may have time before a play to pick but they have same amount as soccer do to react to the defense

  • @r0ze1h given minutes apparently u dont watch football because they have a thing called a 40 second play clock and this guy names peyton manning calls plays on the fly

  • @crj19851985 Oh, just peyton manning and a couple other quarterbacks do it in the NFL. There's 22 players on the field at a time during a soccer game and they all have to make a decision within seconds. You obviously don't watch soccer then. Use logic before you start an argument with me. Oh, let me guess, "soccer's for faggots. no one cares." good one.

  • "...i guess whatever works.." LOL i love videos like these

  • I have a question for you americans who knows this better then me. I'm from sweden and I like football alot so I started to punt and kick for myself just for fun and made it pretty well and sence I've played soccer my whole life I have a strong leg. I punt the ball 50 yards from where I kick it(dose not count from an imaginary los). Is that good? If i continue to practice hard do I have any chance to play in a college team in the US or should I just give up? I'm 17 years old btw

  • @101Mons ..Sure..keep working on both and you will get better. 50 yards would be about 36 yards with line LOS. Pros average about 10 yards further so stick with it. I prefer field goals but to each their own.

  • @101Mons I agree with vaporjams, u could also benefit from practicing and getting good at coffin corners kicks. If u could also get good at punting balls w/ long hangtime (for kicks close to the other endzone but out of range of the field goal kicker) that would help as well. Basically distance is great and 1 of the most important aspects but being versitile and accurate can help set u apart as well. (knowing how 2 throw somewhat and get an angle on sum1 can help a lil also)

  • @Kmagnus80 Alright I'll start working on it! just need to get rid of this got damn snow here in Sweden!

  • reggie said kick it at the meet wich is the hard pointed part, yet he kicked the middle himself? dam

  • @toxic2k7 there is a reason hes not a punter

  • adidas sucks

  • 2 beastly sexy men playing with each other.

    (no homo....ish)

  • that piece of shit is gonna teach beckham how to kick a "football" (shit aint round) hahaha becks is a fucking God at it

  • why bush...they should have Vinatari there representing football...that man can kick

  • Comment removed

  • ARRGHHH!! haha beckham's in pain...

  • @93Dwightfreeney

    World Cup Final - Superbowl.

Soccer is known all over the world.

Handball/Throwball is known in the states.

    Get your facts straight.

  • its footbal man

  • guys just shut up we all know that Rugby and american football are the best sports and soccer and base ball are the wourst

  • futbol is for fagets they always fake there injuries and americain foootball is a man sports

  • @blazou678 I'de like to see you play Football "Soccer" at a high standard, you would get fucked over mate.

  • both sports demand completely different abilities. a 160 lb. soccer player is gonna get murdered in a football game.how ever, a football player is gonna collapse in a soccer game after just 20 minutes of nonstop running.

  • @AZZ09AZ09 actually, running backs, wide receivers, defensive backs, and even some linebackers and quarterbacks, are finely tuned athletes, who would be able to resist a soccer match, don't think that a 230-Lb Calvin Johnson (Wide receiver) wouldn't stand a soccer match... to be honest, giving & taking hits in football makes it very demanding and requires great stamina... i think, physically, football players are better, not taking away anything from soccer ones, though

  • people dont realize American Football is a spinoff of Rugby. I dont understand why people who like Soccer (English Football) and People who like American Football, just cant give each other sports respect. I love Football and my boys, but if nothing else is on I'll watch Soccer, just to hear those retards yell Goal.

  • @sigmapsicharlie well american football is boring compared to soccer. soccer is nonstop action as opposed to american football where theres a stoppage every 20 seconds. that gets boring. because u hav to restart again and again. soccer, you just play

  • @cptprice14 Ahh your full of shit. Soccer gets boring too, I've seen games without a score the whole time, they just pass the ball back and forth, SNOOZE FEST. Its the same old shit, just like Hockey (except Hockey has sanctioned fist fights). American Football is all about the anticipation of a breakout play that leads to a touchdown, soccer is like watching pong on the Atari, back and forth, back and forth.

  • @sigmapsicharlie lets face it people soccer is not that boring. its actually pretty entertaining. american football WOULD be entertaining if they didnt stop the play every 30 seconds.

  • @cptprice14Thats true. But our Football has rules, that slow it down because it is a full contact sport, unlike soccer (where guys fake being hurt) our football is 10 times more dangerous. Our Football is derived from Rugby, which also many stoppages due to rules and penalties.

  • @sigmapsicharlie so you like american football because its "10 times more dangerous?"

  • @cptprice14 people say rugby is so much more manlier than footballl...that means its 20 times more dangerous

  • @479cdrp479 well rugby isnt bad i actually watch some of it. but i hate american football

  • @sigmapsicharlie Exactly that is why, you cannot compare Football to Futbol. Is a completely different sports. You can compare football and rugby, soccer and hockey (ice or field).

  • Why the hell is Reggie Bush teaching him to punt? Maybe Beckham should teach him how to run...

  • this one is my favorite

  • who gives a fuck about which sport is better futbol fans like futbol and football fans like football its quite simple

  • @cheeznizt well said. Who gives a fuck?

  • @cheez it "football" as you call it is a horrid game witch has had a shit load of pointless rules and shit added to it..i appour any un american who can sit throw a whole game of that crap

  • @ps2peter dude are like 3 or summin?

  • @cheeznizt and i like both

  • I still don't see why Reggie Bush is teaching him all of these kicking techniques and shit.

  • @RonWhitey if you would watch the other videos, you would notice that they're showing eachother how to play.

  • @RonWhitey Both are adidas turd burglar

  • @RonWhitey because his ass suck as a runner, gotta put some use to his ass...

  • @RonWhitey haha i know he dosnt know much

  • @RonWhitey Agreed. Reggie is hardly the authority in AF kicking and punting.

  • @RonWhitey cause he can

  • 0:30 lol he almost say FUCK...

  • @MrNexonRules I think more people should play futbol but if they play another sport doesnt mean theryre gay.

  • It's not whit, it's wit you twit.

    Fuckin brit

  • Futbol meets football?, is that supposed to be american whit?, its just sounds gay.

  • haha well put.

  • This is why the brits will never be beaten in sport and comedy.

  • is you think beckham sucks then you obviously no nothing about football

  • Learn how to spell you tip rat. oh and by the way my point is that Beckham has taken on a life of celebrity over football, my guess is its because of his media hungry wife, he could have been a much better player put it that way

  • lol you forgot a period Mr.Perfect. Beckham is an amazing player who continues to be a truly great athlete no matter what team he is on. Who do you think is a better player? Ronaldo? rofl

  • Got no time for Ronaldo, again you misunderstand me, im much more of a football purist, i'd prefer a player who will make a tackle or throw his body in front of a ball on the goal line, I cant stand these players (like Beckham and Ronaldo) who have there own image which is branded to be bigger then the game and there team, who do you support by the way? Pls dont say Man U!!

  • i support southampton (not doing too well anymore) and galaxy because i live in la. and beckham isnt like ronaldo maybe his wife is crazy but just his wife.

  • any soccer player can play football as kicker

  • do you ever think Beckham would make it in the NFL a kicker or punter?

  • BW # 23

  • thats not a punt a punt is with the toes

    they are lacing it

  • lol no your suppose to lace it

  • i never said u wasnt supposed 2 i mean if ur lacing it its not a punt your lacing it

  • You obviously know nothing about punting.... The idea is to hit it on the laces with a pointed foot, thats where the distance and the spirals come from, hate to see how you punt a football

  • well 1st off i dont punt a football i LACE it 2nd its not a football its an american version of a RUGBY ball (not that its even a ball) 3rd a punt is done with your toes thats why its call a toePUNT

  • Mate not one bit of what you said makes any sense, there is no such thing as a toe punt, if you hit the ball with your toe it will go nowhere, if you hit the ball with your laces you will go ok, bit ignorant to not consider the American ball a football, as a punter it takes quite a bit of skill and practice to master kicking one of these, I come from an Aussie rules background and its a harder ball to kick then the Aussie one

  • afraid there is such a thing as a toe punt sorry 2 have prove u wrong google it type it in here u WILL be proven wrong and to be fair a ball is round an american "football" isnt and i never said its wrong 2 hit it with your laces its clearly the best way what im saying is if u use your laces its not a punt have fun finding out about toe punts :D

  • A football is round....

It may have 2 points, but the center is round.

A ball doesn't have to be a sphere....

  • @alexwilsonNC a Rugby/American "football" is a oval shape and an oval aint a ball an egg has a point on it you sayin an egg is a ball?

  • No, because an egg is an egg...

"A ball is a round object with various uses. It is usually spherical but can be ovoid."

And by the way, a human egg IS spherical, would you call that a ball?

  • u obviously dont know how to kick a football either dude. u dont kick the laces???? im a punter and same as for fieldgoals. u kick with the laces facing towards the fieldgoal dumbass

  • This toe punt you speak of is actually what we call a toe poke, and it is not used in American football or Aussie rules, only football (soccer), if anyone were silly enough to use it in any of those sports they would have a broken toe and a punt that goes about 10 yards, suggest you find something to comment on that you actually know something about

  • gotta agree, I have played all 3, aussie rules, soccer and grid iron, and toe poking/punting the ball only works with soccer, you try that with a footy or pigskin, you will break toes

how far do you think beckham punted that ball?

  • Reggie punted in high-school. He was okay. Plus, when he would fake and run, he was pretty much unstoppable. I'd like to see New Orleans use him as a punter now and then. He is one of the best runners in the open field.

  • Then everyone would know exactly what's going to happen if Reggie is back punting.

  • Go back and actually read what I wrote you dickhead.... Im talking about the laces of your boot (or cleat as you Americans call it) not the ball, dumbass

  • @mikeyjig noooooooooo dude. im talking about when u kick a fiedgoal the laces face the fieldgoal. when u punt it u have the laces facing the sky so u get hangtime. uhh and yes i do know what im talking about

  • Look fella lets just put it like this... To punt the football you kick the ball with your foot extended out with the ball flat and the laces facing up towards the sky, yes?

To kick a field goal the laces are facing the goals, are we on the same page now?

  • you must me a retard... because the ball is not a circle it sucks

  • so why they call it football? they kick that funny ball and then hold by hand then start fighting until the ball disappear.if u wanna see fight watch kickbox dude

  • lol

  • it depends how much u hurt ur neckit could of been like he broke only a part of his neck and later it got even worse and then really broke it if it makes sense but its hard to believe but it happens

  • love the way Bush schools David Beckham in how to kick. "If you lean back, its gonna go up, know what I mean?" hahaha

  • he will fly!! i bat!! he can kick kick off too his soccer style and he is great freekick kicker so my opinion is he can do. peace guys.

  • I bet beckham could freakin crush the ball if he was placekicking..

  • they've trained their bodies for 2 totally different sports. both sports at their level require a lifetime dedication...idk how you guys try to compare technique and stuff when i guarantee you've never played those sports at that level.

  • You forget that Reggie Bush could play a soccer match, but would fail miserably, as soccer requires a lot more technique than "football", it's not about endurance or physique. Yes, american football requires technique, too, but not nearly as much as soccer.

  • i still say football's a lot harder

  • what type? lol

  • how can u compare the 2 athletes wen its 2 completely different sports? ur a dumbass.

  • @toxic2k7 do you not fuckin notice that they're both kicking? your a dumbass.

  • @toxic2k7 Um, you put one in the other's uniform and laugh with them?

  • tooright :P

  • i am a fan of nfl.. but your comment is pure bullschit! they are athletes trained starting from childhood to do what they do.. sure, R.B. (with training) could last 90 min, but he would probably suck ass, cause he has no football (FOOT!!!) skills.. peace..

  • ive played both sports competitively and i can say you are FULL OF SHIT

  • i live in chicago an I can enjoy both sports. Maybe reggi could play soccer maybe dave could play football, they do what works for them. so stop your bitching

  • Good lord people. Enough w/ the pissing match already. It's not like you can't enjoy both sports for what they are. Futbol is the world's game and American football is America's indigenous game. Who says you can't like both. The whole point of the video is unity and understanding. Lighten up.

  • Beckham would get killed in football

  • American football players wont last 15 minutes in a football match man. in american football after every foul, play or whatever there is a break, in football, for 45 minutes you get about 3 minutes or less break

  • Soccer require stanima, Football requires quick bursts of speed. They're both great sports, they just require different types of skill.

  • you wouldnt last a minute playing american football...the hits are so hard...your so dumb its not even funny..in soccer barely anyone gets injured..in american football tackles hurt like a bitch...you can get a rib cracked....you need a reality check..go check football hard hits

  • @ReggaeZal AMERICAN FOOTBALL PLAYERS ARE CONDITIONED!!! You guys are so dumb!! Just cause there are breaks doesnt mean they cant run for a long time without them!! They condition every single day of practice. I bet the average NFL player could last longer in a soccer match than a soccer player lasting in a football game cause they would be in too much pain!!

  • @hawkaholic86 lol an american football player wouldn't last a second in a soccer match because the coach would take him out immdiately. he'd be a waste of space on the field

  • @beats1n1shit Same thing with a soccer player in an AF game....

  • @hawkaholic86 Mate, have you seen NRL or Union?

Also, if you think thats not good enough, google AFL.

They tackle, they run everywhere up and down, they have to sprint when they run,

chase downs, EVERYTHING, and average player is 14km a game include subs.

And soccer is 11km, what about NFL? They dont do shit, sprint MASS BREAK with water Lmao refreshing much?

  • @Ericismm I haven't seen the NRL but I am a big fan of rugby union. It's a completely different sport to American football, so why compare? The only reason they get compared is that the different sets of fans love to argue about which sport has the tougher and "harder" players.

  • he would never be able to play in a proper game, under pressure have like 2 seconds to kick it, he would shit his pants and run the other direction

  • you mean Lechler.

  • you kick a BALL with your FOOT = FOOTBALL

you hold an EGG thing with your HAND = HANDEGG

  • LMFAOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO AHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAH that made me laugh man, your right lol name stealers :(

  • hahaha interesting point.

but the football egg is after all still a ball.

anddd how would you call handball then? its a ball played by hand haha! gotcha there

  • no its handegg

  • its called a football because its a foot long u cuntwashes

  • then call 12inchball then u wankstain

  • yeah cos that sounds good bellend

  • no its sounds crap, shit name for a shit game. DO YOU UNDERSTAND NOW?!

  • nah cos the game will rape any other i dont care how many people hate on it, i know the truth shame you wont

  • mate the only rape going on is in american football. all i see is guys grabbing each other. the game couldn't be more gay if it tried

  • lol like you lot fall over and start rolling around the floor when uve pulled a muscle? man up batty boys

  • thats only a few faggots who play up to win free kicks and penalties. Bert Trautmann broke his neck and carried on playing. you don't see that in american football cuz they all where gay armour and have a breaks every 5 seconds

  • yeah ill show you a vid off pain documentary about american football, people playing with broken ankles cunt wipe

  • yer people get there legs snapped in half in football so......

  • Different sports have different specifics. i said american footballers wont last in a football match because football needs stamina. and im not surprised you look so low on the world's most famous sport as running from one part of a field to another, i could very well call american football as chest bumping other players while wearing full body armor and throwing the pig skin.

And football is well, played with the feet, you still get alot of leg based injury.

  • i totally agree

  • yer if your born with those physical abilities then your sorted... all u need is to be good physically, soccor actually requires skill. american football is trained at thevgym were soccer is trained at the pitch

  • hahahahaha dumbass

  • If someone breaks there neck, they have to be carried off in a stretcher dumbass

  • thats nice to know... this guy didnt so whats your point?

  • one of the comments was talking about some soccer player breaking their neck and then kept on playing. And i'm like yeah that's impossible. you break your neck, you can't play

  • yeah i no what you said and you were wrong, becuase he did carry on playing

  • then his neck wasnt broken

  • haha its funny cuz u clearly dont understand.... neck broken...... carried on playing. its very simple

  • its funny cause you clearly don't understand....neck broken...hospital visit...it's even simpler and its common sense. You break your neck, you are carried off to the hospital in a stretcher. If you move, you could potentially permanitely paralyze yourself.

  • Ok i must admit i'm now confused... even though this happen live on TV infront thousands of people. are you actually trying to deny that it happened. He dislocated 5 vertibrae in his neck and cracked 2 of them in half. look it up fucknig retard

  • back in the day a goalkeeper called bert trautman broke his neck and carried on playing...didn't realise he had done it till after the game...so yes it is possible..just not recomended lol

  • What he's on about is true. Trautman was a goalkeeper and had broken his neck early in the 1956 FA Cup Final. He finished and won the game. His neck was apparently crooked at the end, but there's no footage, seeing as it was 53 years ago.

  • hahaha handegg !! lmaoo :P good point thoo they hardly the kick the fukin ball its a more pussy version of rugby

  • @Stormsoldier7 Actually, "football" doesn't refer to any one sport. There are lots of different types of football; association football, American football, Canadian football, Gaelic football, rugby football (union and league), Aussie rules football etc. What is called "football" depends on where you live.

Also, there are kick-offs, point after conversions, field goals and punts in American football, so it certainly can be called "football".

  • @VanDoodah and besides that, American Football is called that way because... about 80 or 90 years ago, the goal was to get te ball between the uprights, the now called "Field goal" which is worth 3 points nowadays, was worth 5 back then, and the so valuable 6-point Touchdown in todays game, was worth only 3 points, they say it's no football but it WAS when it began, now has VERY different rules
