yes you can I do it all the time but just make sure you braid when you get to the end of the twist so it doesn't unravel.

Hi, I have a question. When I do the flat-twists, I do my best to have my hands pressing on the scalp. At the beginning of the flat-twists, the twist is nice and tight on the scalp, but in like a half hour the flat-twists that are close to the end of the scalp puff up. What am I doing wrong?

You may need to pull tightly as you pick up your strands. I hope that makes sense. If you are doing it properly your hands will rest somewhat on the scalp.

That's what I am going to do tonight. Raiiniie, I hope that I have great results like you. How many Sundays have I been in a mad rush to get to church b/c I am taking down 5 million individual twists? LOL! Sometimes, I fly to church stressed, stop on a dime in a church pew outa breath & have to get my peace back from the rush ... all of this over my hair! Ugh!
