ArizonaMtkingsnake. I was in promote liberty after just cause, as an MP..I also lived on Amador and Quarry Heights as a kid. Very fond memories for sure. What happened there was the turning point in my decision to leave the military as well. Panama is a great country , with some of the most fantastic people you would ever meet. What we did there was bad. There would have been so many better ways to get Noriega out of there. Makes me happy to see Panama doing well now.. and without the US
I was at Fort Sherman Panama back in the day. Noreiga was removed from power ONLY because he would not bow to American corporations . So MANY innocent Panamanians were killed by America that they buried them with bulldozers. I loved that country great people what was done was horrible. That was when I began to open my eyes to what America was.
On his property where his beach house is at Decameron, there were rumors of a big wooden box of money that was buried close to the southwest corner of the property. While processing the PDF'S this was well known, and several people have dug around but the box is buried really deep about 8 ft. It is still there but the land is from what I understand barricaded with concertina wire. If someone is interested send me a personal message.
