Yep, I do custom painting on my xmods... Sounds like you need to get digital camera, lol. I use HP Photosmart M22 4.0 megapixels camera, they're pretty good and good price too. You should try check it out....

Both, I use airbrush than spray can because I could control flow of paints. Take a lot of practices to get decent paint job...

Either spray can or airbrush would works. But I use airbrush with tamiya paint more than spray can.
