You wouldn't believe it, but these trains broke in half twice on the only two rail crossings between Norseman and Kambalda and we were caught for over 6 hours each time!
Some of the ore cars were bought second hand from South Australia and they were modified, and broke on the actual chassis of the car behind the coupler. There was a lot of hand-brake winding at Norseman as this is a reasonable grade.
