@dav666777 I found that badge points were more important than leveling up flower points or health points. Then if I felt like it I could just get a ton of hp or fp pluses from enemies, rogueport, etc. I had 30 hp, and 20 fp, and all of my other badges were banking on power plus and defend plus, damage dodge, quickchange, and feeling fine... though feeling fine was a complete waste for this battle to be honest : /

I had my first fight against the SQ today. I had 3 life shrooms and Vivan, being a hog, took ALL of them! So when SQ got to 9 health, she sent her stupid ded hand wave. Killed me. Fuck Vivan's stupid hogginess. If I had even 1 life shroom, I would not be here writing this comment. I would be watching the credits.

HELPFUL TIP TO OWN THE SHADOW QUEEN: To do this, you need charge badges for you and your partner. After her defenses are destroyed, charge up a bunch of times, using your FP. When you attack, you hurt her a lot. The slot at the right will have 2 shine sprites. You will always win that. Use Supernova. Do another round of charge if you want. You get a big advantage and you get all your HP, FP, and Star points back!

The shadow queen has epic music but she was a pain in the ass to beat xI those damn hands caused a lot of damage when combined with her dark thunderbolt if i didn't take them out first plus they healed her when they weren't busy smacking you around

It took me a few tries, but this video shows the essentials. Power Lift, Art Attack, and you definitely want Vivian as your partner. She's got some very nasty attacks, you especially need to hide from the one where the screen goes dark.

You get to fight Mario though in SPM. In the Pit of Trails in Flipside, you battle Shadoo which takes on the form of all four Mario, Peach, Bowser and Luigi.

Super Paper Mario was just not nearly as good as the last games. It was incredibly easy, I didn't like the fighting style (I'd much rather have the classic), and the final boss was frankly pitiful. I liked the music and SOME of the characters. But I guess it's hard to live up to these games.

The Shadow Queen was insanely easy to beat... I had a lot more HP though, and FP, and I had some useful items. I believe my Level was 23, and I went in with Goombella (or whatever her name is) out front, and used her tattle move so I could see how much health she had left, took me about 10 mins to beat her in all (took me about a month to beat the intire game)...

I thought people were crazy when they said bonetail was harder than shadow queen... shadow queen's attacks were way more powerful, though she had less HP than bonetail by 50.... But then again Bonetail had like 2 defend points or something... but I still found shadow queen to be way harder and also thought bonetail was a cakewalk in comparison with Shadow Queen
