  • Confucius say.. boy who drop to flat, snap frame

  • Comment removed

  • I dont race but Iv been riding downhill for about a year and I know this isnt the hardest thing to do, but, I wouldnt do it. There arent hucks as big as this in amateur racing...

  • @ICRPI someitmes there are buddy, but usually there aren't. alls i'm saying is this drop lacks flow

  • OMG Nice :)

  • that's what you call a drop dumbass

  • thats tiny check out my drop thats big on a hardtale

  • flat drops like this have no flow and smply arent fun, plus they're unnecessary abuse on your bike and your body

  • @compaqnc6340 Why are you complaining? bet you dont have the balls to do that

  • @ICRPI hey, buddy, i'm not complaining! plus i do have the balls i race downhill and love big hucks. but i wouldn't take the time to climb on my roof with my bike and do this, because it doesn't even have any transition, it's a huck to flat which is lame. but yes he gets 3/4 of a prop for the balls required to do this

  • Sprzedam konę stinky 2007 r z damperem 5 element

  • ican do it on my kona cinder cone

  • Nice.

  • pretty well

  • i can jump off that with my bare feet :)

  • 0:09

  • Should have seen the jump he used to get on the house.

  • Nice skills, and if you can do this you know how fun drops are, and we all secretly eyeball our roofs with that intent to ride our DH bike off of it

  • u will break ur frame beleve me

  • Nice man! 212 people think this is awesome and know how to Bike, and 36 people are jealous of your skill and guts.

  • these guys have no brain. go to some hill and build fucking drop lmao

  • Comment removed

  • if u have nothing nice to say then shut the fuck up, this guy has balls!

  • why landing flat is bad?

  • @sabakvavilashvili maybe because the massive forces you put the bike under? :L

  • @anonarob dont you put massive forces on your bike jumping non flat?

  • @sabakvavilashvili no, i dont quite know how to explain it but lets put it this way... for example if you dropped and egg from 6ft onto a flat surface it will smash.... if you dropped it onto a curved surface from that height the likely hood of it breaking it less..... this is the only way i can think to explain it sorry of you dont understand... (please correct me if im wrong)

  • @anonarob i understand but there is one thing about bikes that they dont drop in curved way it still drops flat and then whole force is only on rear wheel and hub i dont know if im right myself but lets not argue and if anyone is expert in things like this let him explain to us :) :) :D

  • @sabakvavilashvili fair enough lol

  • ive dropped off my house with my trek session and it is almost twice tht height and there is not a mark to be seen on on the bike so that means people r over exagerating the outcome of dropping to flat or the session 88 rapes the stinky and all u other peoples bikes up the fuckin asshole hardcore

  • crazy!!

  • you guys are all idiots. who the hell is anybody to judge how he treats his own shit? you guys need something more going on in your lives.

    @nickhcoronas nice work dude.

  • It cool! regards!

  • haha you guys are all retarded. why couldnt you just be like "hey man nice"

  • Look the guy knows what his bike is gonna take and honestly he did pretty good and as far as his bike breaking people do that all the time and if u maintaine your bike itll be pleanty fine

  • EVERYONE SHUT THE FUCK UP AND JUST WATCH THIS AWESOME DROP THAT TOOK SOME GIGANTIC BALLS(and some courage)!!!

  • that was dope

  • how did u get it up there?

  • @MRBIKERist

all you need is a ladder and minimal muscle requirements to get it up there.

  • its his bike let him do what he wants with it, thats y u buy things to do as u please with them

  • Atleast he wore protection :)

  • ALL OF YOU STOP BEING IDIOTS AND SAYING A CRAPLOAD OF TRASH TO HIM AT LEAST HE RIDES. I BET SOME OF YOU ARE MAD CAUSE YOU CANT EVEN RIDE A BIKE. STOP COMMENTING, IF YOU HAVE TRASH TO SAY KEEP IT TO YOUR WORTHLESS SELF!

  • @N0obama

why dont you stop trying to change peoples minds by posting your lame ass comment about "leave this guy alone". He obviously is a retarded, spoiled, rich kid that doesnt give a fuck about himself or his bike, because "mommy and daddy" will pay for it. See the neighborhood he lived in? His parents probably make tons of money and buys him whatever he bitches about wanting. He'll learn when he gets older and is making his own money, ya wont treat your things like this^^^. Grow up kiddo

  • @TheJeepWheeler ur the jerk who needs ta grow up ur just jealous

  • @N0obama

no, im a person that calls it how I see it. Jealous of what? Ive been to Northstar numerous times and have done 8-10 foot drops. I dont have to go up on my mommy's half a million dollar house and drop to flat ground to just further stress on every single weld on my bike i didnt have to pay for.

Excuse me if i have a sense of respect and pride in the things i buy with MY own money. Like i said, youll know when you start buying your own shit

  • @TheJeepWheeler whatever, we all know your jealous that you dont have a bike like that, and uuu hello its a freaking downhill bike ya idiot i paid for my own kona coiler and do bigger drops jeez ya moron, its not his choice he grew up there its not his choice he gets whatever he wants which he doesnt, GUARANTEED! so just stop your mindless bull crap

  • @N0obama

look it up dumbfuck, kona stinkys are the #1 rated bike to break on you. Jealous of that?? i dont think so. No shit its a DH bike, but do ya notice how all the drops in DH PARKS have a landing pad too, a DECLINED landing pad, so you dont drop to flat ground!

  • @TheJeepWheeler what do you care if it brakes on him ur not his dad or mom and you never will be but im sure you'd love to be his mom, so just stop cause i'll stop if you stop flaming dumb heshe, grow up kiddo -_-

  • LOL kid thinks its hardcore to post a vid of him dropping flat. Recieves a crapload of hate comments about how stupid he is.

  • U dont need that bike

  • SICK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • idk why everybody s complaning 90 % of the ppl who watched tis cant do it !!

  • @vtmscumkiller anyone can do it its not a stunt its called riding off roof onto a flat....dumb :/

  • @vtmscumkiller It's not that hard, it's just STUPID as hell. Drop to flat will damage ur bike if it happens to often-.-

  • @vtmscumkiller your fucking retarded! the hard part would be getting the bike up there, anybody can ride off of a house!

  • @vtmscumkiller i can do it, i'm just not stupid enough to do it.

  • @vtmscumkiller

i'm part of the 10%, yay!!!

  • it didnt look that bad at all. why is everybody complaining

  • id have to agree with half the people posting.. my personal opinion as well, Kona does not make a great bike.

  • nice house.....

  • and this is why you hear so many REAL mountain bikers saying Kona's are shit... because nooby 13 year olds consider the bikes to be good and so assume that dropping 7ft to a flat (which really aint all that impressive) is ok for your bike.... WRONG.... this weakens almost every bearing on your bike as well as wheels and the more important note... its not cos its a kona.... konas get a bad rep cos they are mainly ridden by riders who CANT ride like teh guy in this vid

  • BAAANG..feel sorry your frame

  • wtf i off a 6 ft drop to flat with my damis bam 2 and almost brake my ankle how do u do it

  • Hm........i wouldn't do that if i was you.........but with Rocky rmx stealth.....no problem.

  • Just you wait till your father gets home! No tacos for dinner! No Xbox for 6 months! No meeting at McDonald or the Mall! i've had it with you! LOL!!!

  • nice one ;D

  • helmet???

  • No no no..... Konas dont break because noobie 13 do this on them

    Kona's break because there SHIT!

  • @wantedlonewolf HAHA funny joke.

  • @freeridingnewzealand haha.... it would be, if it was a joke lol!

  • @wantedlonewolf What is shit on Kona bikes?

  • @patriceg7 I could allways send you links to every kind of kona made were they have snaped in half ... except the kona bass...

Anyone with a kona bass will be ok... but iv seen Every other model of kona snaped.

I can send you links to pics if you like?

  • @wantedlonewolf show me these links. I have a stinky and i never had any problems with the frame.

  • @patriceg7 Sorry mate it wont let me post a link, but i'v messaged it to you instead.

You could also search for "snapped kona" in google and their are plenty.

Its usually down to poor maintenance but kona seams to be more prone for it.

  • @wantedlonewolf yeah konas are sooooo overrated

  • @patriceg7 everything

  • u guyz are retards konas are the weakest shittest bikes ever i snapped 2 kona frames and on my steel saracen frame iv dropped about !^ft to flatt like a million times and its still holding fine retards dont deserve to live do reasearch dick head

  • @tidyboyd Probably because your a fat cunt, anything you touch breaks .

  • in a way he could have snaped his frame from landing like that

  • how did you get up with the bike???

  • drop to flat = stupid! that's why i dont buy used bikes.

  • @toddosworld it got full suspension so you are suppost to kand flat

  • @Petegrin1 what the fuck? Do you actually know anything about bikes and jumps? The rear suspension isnt designed for this kind of impact the way the fork is you dumb shit. It is not enough for so much energy you get from dropping from that height onto a flat surface, therefore most of the impact goes directly into the frame weakening its integrity. This is all gonna get back to the kid when hes at 15 mph on a trail and the frame is just gonna go *snap*.

  • @Psenas okay thanks mr angry man. now i know some more, i just heard from other people that ur suppost to land flat with a full suspension bike, but i was wrong, i admit that Mr Anger.

i got one more little question to you Mr Anger, if you got a full suspenioned slopestyle bike, should you land on the back wheel aswell than?

  • calm down guys if it brakes his bike it's his fault no prob i liked it it was awesome and he landed in a way that would absorb some of the shock not as m,uch as he could have done but still...

  • Зачет, Чувак!

  • kona stinkys r shit

  • at least if your doin a flat drop or jump, you need speed so its not a straight down drop but more gradual drop although as other people have said, atleast use some kind of drop-in landing for this kind of stuff.

  • wat kinda bike? is it a specialized hardrock?

  • @YorK944MH noooo a specialized hardrock would break its some sort of downhill bike with 8 inches of suspension

  • @YorK944MH I think that it is a norco a line but im not sure. A specialized hardrock would do that really easy. well i could do it on one but no one else because no one is as good as me. i ride at whistler and i have rode one there but i tried a 20 foot drop to flat and bent the spokes. if you want a good bike stay

  • @YorK944MH awya from azonics because they are not good for hip tansfers becasue they roll out really easy. i saw someone crash on one but if you weant a good bike get a mongoose but not like a pinr get something from walmart because they are cheap and really tough. one time i did a 50 foot cliff on one.

  • @YorK944MH yeah i landed it so i tried a 360 off and crashed. if you want to see it type in sam hill because i am beter than him . i can do any drop that you can find no matter how big or how bad of landing on my iron horse. they are the best bikes ever made besides the giant anthem becasue it is really lioght and can

  • @YorK944MH take a one foot drop but most people who ride them cant hit a medium dized latter bridge at beacon but you can upgrade to a kona primo because they ride like my bike but the forks need oil and i have a seal going out on mine. so pretty much im awesom and the best out of everyone. if you want to

  • @YorK944MH hear my complete story please buy my biorgraphy. its really good but i cant give you a link beacusde if you want it that bad you can find it on your own and anyone who is still reading this you must be gay or named larry but they are both the same thing. i once knew a guy named larry he is very unresponsible

  • @YorK944MH and cant put tranny fliud in his truck so he blew the tranny and he stays out all night playing poker so that we cant leave early in the morning and this one time he took me riding and it was fun. oh did i mentoin i rode at silver. i did the wallrid to high up and had to do a flair so then i landed flat and then i did a 65.23 foot gap and crashed trying the world record back flip beacuse i over rotated and then i crashed and bent my rear disk which sucked beacuse i had to

  • @YorK944MH use my front brake al;l of the way down and then i got it fixed and got the world recor back flip on the next run. i also rode the worlds longest gondola and it was scary the fist time and yeah so im awesome and a way better downhill racer then connor because he is the only person with no life that would take the time to read all of this

  • poor bike...

  • no good

  • nickleback is the shit

  • that looked uncomftable!!!!!

  • a real badass would have done that on a bmx :)

  • bmx is better? bmx is for poor stupid 8years old guy, when i was 10 yrs o. i had bmx too... MTB is mutch better..

  • i bet he needs a new pivot kit :P

  • Bmx is better. But you need to gap to a hill or ramp

  • a kona will take that about 20 more times then its problems you have balls but put up some angled ramp even 2-3 ft would help a lot!

  • nice drop yo! yes the bike is meant to withstand that pressure, its designed to take drops like that, what do u think all that suspension is for anywayz so u can peddal faster, i dont think so . use it or loose it !

  • @gunzupnolia

Angled ramps are the way to go bro. If you land on flat pavement, you will very quickly break the frame. Ask anybody in any bike shop. No suspension is a match for flat landings from the roof. You will fatigue that frame and suspension in no time and they will fail. Ask any bike manufacturer. Do some research bro.

  • that wud be pretty easy, but u just gotta have the balls to do it

  • how to kill your bike

  • thats fine, man! ;-)

(i just saw another video with a bastard who only jumped little ramps with it...dumbo)

  • GLORIFIEDBKR1 IT

  • no he isnt, he is talking shit

  • WOW!!!!

  • That was sick!!!!

  • good

  • wooooo

  • that was sick!

  • just bought a 08 stab supreme for $300

  • thats was shit

  • haa that was cool

  • smooth

  • bought a kona stab deluxe 07 on ebay for £600, picking it up tomorrow!!! =DDDDDD

  • good luck grealdo21

  • and that folks, is how you weaken headtubes, dont do that ^^ at least make a landing out of pallets or whatever, no bike is suposed to be dropped over 7ft to flat, ruins wheels, forks, shock, and frames

  • Its onto grass which is spongy which is better than pallets and that stinky could take a 20 to flat if you found someone crazy enough to do it

  • no, just no, humans can live without legs, or even arms, but does that impact their everyday life? yes, so does droping to flat like that, then you wonder why konas break, because 13 year old knobs get them and do this stuff with them.

if grass is spongy jump head first off the roof onto it, let me know(if you can still think after it) how it went, an angled landing with pallets is way better, not my opinion, a fact.

  • Your right landing on angeled pallets would be better but because of the gras he's not hurting the damned bike retard

  • ok, have it your way.

  • Get ur facts rite bitch! It does!!

  • agreed

  • 96bikerider96 dont talk shit, if you know how to land that drop is fine to that flat. talk to a trials rider about technique if ya unsure.......

  • @96bikerider96 is calling sum1 a '13 year old' meant to be an insult. you know u were once thirteen and i bet u where a knob....no change there and also konas dont brake because people do stuff like this on them. they brake cos they are pieces of shit.....just to let u know

  • @saintpedr00 I don't agree, I've got now the kona supreme and it's really a good bike.

  • @96bikerider96 Please explain the physics behind this fact, for the laymen to understand.

  • and its a kona

  • jumping anything big on flat is just too much stress on everything on the bike, so why do that? for fun? okay, but wouldnt you have more fun with not-broken-frame after few of these "stunts" for longer time? :)

  • the bike would be sound from that, you just need to know how to land. (back wheel first) my friend goes off stuff a lot higher on a rigid trials bike

  • exactly, as the shock compresses the headtube's geometry changes drastically, don't believe if you don't want to, but it's true...

  • trial bike VS full suspension bike? not fair!

as 96bikerider96 said - when you land back wheel first - head tube angle goes crazy - thats enormous force for the fork, head tube bearings, and front side of the frame. do NOT do that...

  • absorb the shock with youre body befor the front even hits the ground. and what do ya mean by goes crazy, the angle gets more accute? as the forks compress the distance from the headtube decreases so the leverage is less. the longer the froks the more stress on the headtube surely.

  • actually fork wont compress as it would when "landing both wheels at the same time" because the shock is compressed - head tube angle is very low - force is in other direction as the direction of compression of the fork.

  • ahh so the more the rear shock compressed the greater the head tube angle, i get ya

  • @96bikerider96 shut up you fagot

  • @yetty303 haha, so, knowing a thing or two about keeping your bike in one piece makes you a fag? interesting...

  • @yetty303 Hey fuckhead, please do us all a favor and shut up. You spelled Yeti wrong by the way. Nice try though.

  • @96bikerider96

seen some guy sheer a headtube right off his bike with marzocchi 888's off a 6 ft drop to flat land. DONT DO IT GUYS. it will fuck your bike up eventually.

  • @96bikerider96 why do you care mate? let him fuck up his bike, its makes good footage. shame the bike didnt collapse. theres always next time tho.

  • @96bikerider96 Josh benders bike is suposed : D

  • @96bikerider96 Hehe nice statement (thats why i have a specialized demo 8 2) Flat drops up to 15 ft. LOL

  • WOW

  • asztamindenit

  • no more than 8 hun

  • none of you people know what the fuck you're talking about

  • is that the 07 or 06 stinky?

  • put some videos of you doing drops on a trial....instead of a roof cause itd be alot sicker

  • omg that is so bad for your bike to land on flat from that high, it was pretty sweet but not the smartest thing.

  • @GeneralMatte117 Many of the coolest things in the world are not the smartest things in the world :P

  • hahahaha... AWESOME

  • Nice Bike =]
