  • Nope, not done complimenting you. You've done an amazing job. You should post more of these. How about posting all the album Cherry Ball? Also, did you learn this song by ear? Lastly, my favorite part is the woman with tea who walks in while you are recording.

  • Super great

  • Spot on Seb, I often watch this clip...well done.

  • @timolgra Thanks Pa :-)

  • Man you nail this!

  • Fantastic! It made me cry as much as the Catfish original! You're brilliant!

UK Catfish fans - join the facebook cause: Get CATFISH KEITH on the Jools Holland Show. Or write to Jools Holland via the BBC and ask him to invite Catfish on the show. Britain needs more Catfish!

  • Very kind of you rapperfrgman! Thanks

The whole world needs to hear catfish, I will join the cause and do my bit to get catfish onto the Jools Holland show.

  • Got that one nailed very nicely..very sweet harmonics and expression. Catfish's stuff is not easy to do...he explains it very well in his workshops and tuition DVD..but actually trying to pull it off is something else. Well done!!!

  • awesome - i soo want to learn this un

  • Wonderful tune! Loved it.

  • You've made an excellent job of this tune by Catfish. Great technique here. Love the part where the light goes off and on. Casual or what. LIke your style. Is this in open D tuning? You should be gigging with this level of skill. Greetings - Kenny - Scotland

  • Thank you very much! Tuning for this amazing tune is open G.

  • Nice work. I just heard a Catfish Keith song on the radio. I thought I jotted down enough to find it on the internet but haven't had any luck. Even CK's site is sparse on details. No lyrics anywhere. If anyone can help me I'd be grateful. The song I'm looking for has CK humming, and these words/phrases in it: "slip back", "graveyard", "crumble", "heart is heavin' ", "jailhouse", "funky happy home". Can you help?

  • Best way is to make it your own. By his albums from itunes and try to figure out what he plays. Best thing you can do is to go see him live and even join one of his workshops. As far as lyrics, the majority of the words are the same as the traditional songs and really aren't that technical. Good luck!

  • actually I was just looking for a way to listen to the song again. i don't play guitar (short fingers) but I heard a song and wanted to find it again, but I can't. it has the lyrics above; usually I can type lyrics into google and find a song that way but it didn't work this time. I was kinda hoping by typing some of the word/lyrics above that you'd recognize which song I had heard. There's some humming in the song too. thx

  • I Think the song your looking for is called 'Long-Haired Doney'

If you have itunes you can search catfish in the store and preview all his tracks.

    Hope that helps
