I have been to Camden and have a good friend who was a police officer there. He was shot in the line of duty and had to retire. It is so bad that the Amtrak train does not stop. You cannot even purchase a Greyhound ticket to get out of town. Now that is freaking bad!

As someone who lives in NJ and has been in Camden numerous times, I can tell you that unless you see it in person you truly cannot understand how bad Camden really is. There are parts of that city that the police will not even enter. It's unbelievable. When the sun starts to go down, it looks like a scene from a horror movie, people will literally run off the streets. If you are alone at night, there is no question that you will 100% of the time be beaten, robbed, or killed. It's unbelievable.

Ive seen this city in and out and theres nice places like the the minor league baseball stadium twitter center for amazing concerts and parties, Camden Community College, The enormous hospital, very classy shops and restaurants, aqurium etc. These reporters concentrated on north and central camden which are amazingly bad but just stay out of this city in nighttime and stay on main roads and youll be fine. Drug money is what corrupts everything about this city not its people.

I have a masters degree in accounting and marketing and grew up in a all black neighborhood. Black people are best at physical things and things that require hand-eye coordination (Dancing, fighting, sports) but they cannot grasp issues like economics, law and literature.

Remember that New Jersey has the greatest population density of any state and is the 2nd richest state in America in median household income. You can take a look at the numbers, and in spite of those stats there a town that looks like a semi-rural semi-urban nightmare. Gentrification was clearly in play, and anyone who understands socioeconomic asperity can see that "race" is an obvious element

When the capital employed in production of soup and warships left Camden, so did the wages. Naturally; peace and cheap oil make outsourcing viable.
Most Blacks in the US have not amassed capital for many reasons; recently, just as equal protection under the law came in, the jobs went overseas.

Even in this area, there is urban decay. The problem is poor education, hardly any tax income for the city itself (no business, no tourists), and what tax income the city has, is squandered. Most are too poor to move some place safer. Don't give me that "pick yourself up by the bootstraps" bullshit.

I have been to Camden and have a good friend who was a police officer there. He was shot in the line of duty and had to retire. It is so bad that the Amtrak train does not stop. You cannot even purchase a Greyhound ticket to get out of town. Now that is freaking bad!

As someone who lives in NJ and has been in Camden numerous times, I can tell you that unless you see it in person you truly cannot understand how bad Camden really is. There are parts of that city that the police will not even enter. It's unbelievable. When the sun starts to go down, it looks like a scene from a horror movie, people will literally run off the streets. If you are alone at night, there is no question that you will 100% of the time be beaten, robbed, or killed. It's unbelievable.

Ive seen this city in and out and theres nice places like the the minor league baseball stadium twitter center for amazing concerts and parties, Camden Community College, The enormous hospital, very classy shops and restaurants, aqurium etc. These reporters concentrated on north and central camden which are amazingly bad but just stay out of this city in nighttime and stay on main roads and youll be fine. When the capital employed in production of soup and warships left Camden, so did the wages. Naturally; peace and cheap oil make outsourcing viable.
Most Blacks in the US have not amassed capital for many reasons; recently, just as equal protection under the law came in, the jobs went overseas.

i have lived in camden all my life its funny how you put two white people out in brawed day light and they going to act like there scared like someone is going to attack them on camara. But they did not come out to east camden where there are hard working people that have nice homes and good jobs.
