the shuttle was a great idea gone wrong, far too expensive and i'm surprised it lasted this long.

no private company could ever endure a loss like the shuttle presented, now I dare say down in Florida there are thousands of expert tile fitters who can fix up bathrooms with exotic tiles

so why did the Russians ditch their shuttle which did a single remote controlled flight?

Yes, this deep space talk excites me. However, when I was in the fifth grade my teacher told my class that she was SOOOOO excited for us because we would get to raise our families on the moon.
