Also the song might be degraded , youtube might have done that to stop copyright , or it could be a different version , the only people who will no wich is the original from the 60's is the people born from 40's - 70's because this was very big in the charts then , so i dont know what version this is and i dont even know if the music has lost quality with it being on youtube , some do , some dont..

the reason why it sounds different is because the one in the movie has been made newer and structured newer like most old 1960 songs you hear now , there not the originals , this version didn't get used in the movie , there is two versions in the movie the re recorded 1980 one and the slow instumental , the instrumental never got released , if you wanna here the instrumental go on my channel and click on stand by me part 1/8 about 40 seconds in it will come on , this was the one in 1960..
