I think that saying is international, and oh so true. VERY nice song! So rarely do people with talent put so much emotion in their songs. Glad people are finally getting out of the play-patterns groove. Of course you went to clouds when you started playing the difficult stuff. I think it is the phrasing that seperates the REAL PLAYERS from the boys and this song for some reason other sounding great has that great seperation from others...kind of like why Joe S and Steve V and others from this GEN have further themselves and for some unknown reason Rick Graham has not been pushed further mainstream....this is ONE OF THE BEST INSTRUMENTALS I HAVE HEARD...AWESOME!!....and I can't figure why it is just on youtube.....should be on ITUNES!!!

Yup.....this stuff rocks. If you are looking for possible lesson ideas how about covering your sliding and bend techniques, highlighted in this song. That seems to be a real defining characterist of your phrasing, and its pretty rad. Vai and satch have some licks like that but I think your take on it is better.

Yes it's my own composition. For the recording I used a pod xt live into the pc into sonar 5 and I played everything on the track. For drums I used Drumkit from hell superior
