Aniichi Miyagi sensei trained at chojun Miyagis sensei´s dojo under Eiichi Miyazato Sensei for one year. After Chojun Miyagi sensei´s tragic death he continued to train for Eiichi Miyazato sensei for six years.

Your own mathematics makes it 7 years, from 16 y.o. to 22 y.o..

I am wondering how much of the deeper teachings he might have been shown or have taken on between 16 and 22 years of age, though...
