the cockpit displays look like they are flashing but it's simply the camera capture rate has the same frequency as the display pannels.
The monitors are effectively flashing the image. But its so fast you cannot notice it with your eye. But the camera also receives images by flashing on and off. Some times the camera and the monitor flash off at exactly the same time and so you see blackness for a moment.
@hakan737 It was just the camera adjusting. The camera I had at the time wasn't great and could when I pointed it down at the inside of the cockpit which was darker relative to outside it just over exposed the brightness outside.
please, come to northern canada and fly 30 year old a/c with no modernization to mins every day!!! thats why it takes years to become a cptn on a small a/c not months...
@comeonfhqwhgads1 Nothing. That's just the effect you get when filming a computer screen. It's to do with the refresh rate of the video being different to that of the screen being filmed. It's the same if you ever see a computer screen on a news report on TV or something like that.
I just wanted to boast to everyone in here that I am the best youtube armchair aviation expert there is. My comprehensive investigation has led me to conclude that this airplane is a Cessna citation.

@radar050976 Thanks , I was wondering. the fog was unfortunatly alot thicker two days ago than what is shown on this video for the pilot. I was travelling nearby at the same time in the morning by car and you could barely see a few feet infront of the car.
It was the thickest fog I have ever encountered in my life. The pilot should have went to Shannon.
@carlingfordberg Yes I was in Cork City that morning too and the fog was incredibly bad. However lets reserve judgement and not apportion any blame until the full investigation is complete. Anything statement at this stage as to the cause is purely speculation.
@mattp1803 No no, i was just kidding because it was a so perfect move of the guy toward where the landing gear lever was. If he would have pull down the landing gear at that point i doubt it would have time to be properly deployed before landing and the pilots should have been grounded if they had forgot or delayed something that important.
@bhaveshnande They weren't. That's just the effect you get when filming a computer screen. It's to do with the refresh rate of the video being different to that of the screen being filmed. It's the same if you ever see a computer screen on a news report on TV or something like that.
No they dont have to, its called differential power, and it makes it a little easier but the front wheel turning suffices for the turn on the ground. in the air, they never speed up just one engine.

Its the camera. The panels have a refresh rate somewhat like a computer monitor, and a cheap camera will pick it up.

Amazing and nice landing. Just I'm curious, around 1:38, visual sight totally lost into runway? or just only cause of camera adjusting?

If there was fast pace music in the video, it be the best video I ever seen (I'm referring to the instruments).

Are the instrument suppose to turn off and on, off and on?

@NumanFsl I suppose that's because framerate (camera vs. instruments). Try to record your TV or better - old CRT monitor, you'll see for yourself.
