I think Faction controlled ZONES should have flying guards, and neutral zones should have more occasional flying creatures to knock at you, like dragons.
Hey, thanks for the coverage you do. Wouldn't it be nice if they took an accounting approach towards pug "call to arms" rewards? Imagine a consumable buff in that bag of goodies that can only be used on guild runs. Also, in regards to the world of Azeroth becoming smaller due to public transportation. What if we mages had exclusive rights to create a product like "portal scrolls?" Probably never going to happen, all the other classes would want something they could sell.

I'll just post my view on the problem with tanking, as i have been a warrior tank ever since i have started playing WoW. After some time, i become jealous of the DPS in the group, simply because they dont have any of pressure a tank has. Sure they have to kill the boss before the healer runs out of mana, but at the end of the day, if Tank dies, everyone dies (most of the time anyway). And With every death, there needs to be blame and the blame is squarely on the tanks plate wearing head. :'(
I loved ZA the other day. Rotated tank and healer about 5 times before I finished the dungeon. One loss and they quit, really these people have no patience.
I just got kicked from zul'gurub because the healer couldn't keep me above 70k hp, his reason was because I was "Too hard to heal." Then I got pretty mad and went to do a random bg... so I get and we're about to start so someone reports me away just because I had /away on... even though I was walking around in front of the asshole... I think this game is making me as mad as call of duty does. D:<
i had the best memory of lvling when i was lvling my paladin and me my friend which was a warrior thought it would be a cool ideal to go to wetlands at lvl 15 :D we got ganked so bad. and the other bad thing was we didnt know are way back :(
Anyone who is not queuing with guildies and complaining that blizzard is making them do this, has already made the choice that they don't put the priority on queueing with people in their guild.
Those people have made the choice that they want the gold/pet/mount more than they want to queue with their guild. This is a choice, it is not blizzard forcing people to do something.
Regarding the last letter: I also play on a laptop (a rather inexpensive one at that) on max settings and have absolutely no problem with framerate. The person that wrote it must have a wooden laptop or something like that.
people, if you get a laptop and plan to game on it: Be picky! Choose a good laptop, find one with an actual graphics card and not one of those intel graphics drivers you find more often for smaller prices.

I think i've a partial solution to the whole "Travelling isn't dangerous" thing. Flying mosters. Simple as that. Why not implement packs of twilight dragons flying around randomly in the world? Of course high enough to not aggro the lowbies who are running around on the ground. The thing is that the ground, and nowdays most of the waters, are filled with life, but the air is just plain empty. They need to put in flying enemies, and with that, mounted combat maybe?
I am starting to fucking hate the Dark Prophecy add (or whatever). How can they possibly believe that I want to buy the game when they shove it up my face for 15 seconds each time I want to watch a video. ITS THE ONLY ADD I GET!
@DragonPurple My laptop is 2 years old, and i run it on fair and get decent fps (~30). Laptop specs are different, and not everyone can afford good laptops/desktops that run WoW(or any PC game for that matter) really well.
the burning steppes questline you started there was awesome.Anyone who hasn't done it, go do it! And regarding guild play, As long as blizzard doesn't implement some evil system that interferes with guild raiding, then all is well. I don't do 5 mans often anymore, so my guild play involves raiding every week. good enough for me :)

I got a healer alt and a few times I got Call to Arms for her...well I could...but...some guildies wanted to come too and ofc there's no way I leave my guildies out for a bag that mayby got a mount(0,1% droprate) or a flask that I can easilly pay for myself. Not worth the annoyance that alot of pugs give me...guildgroup trumps call to arms imo
i'm running on a sony vaio, and i chose this computer specifically over others because of the focus they had on visual settings. It wasn't a very expensive one (not a cheap one either) and it runs wow very well on good settings or even very good (that just heats him up a bit too long but some desk-set to put it on would fix that) even in raid environments with a lot of spell effects etc. Laptops do make good gaming computers, you just need the right tools
If i have 1 criticism with az daily its that he anylises stupid posts. Clearly These people are about 12 years old. Anybodoy can post on the forums. So why spend time talking about a post that we all know is pointless and dum?

Omg i cant stand this anymore. every episode there is some mention of people that are bad and blizzard makes them game easier for them. Lets face it the game is not that hard! In terms of raiding the only thing thats difficult really is healing. You only have to perfect your playsyle for hardmode and some end bosses.
@Guudni Undead/Forsaken are scourge that don't serve the lich king, being former humans they got denied placement in the alliance simply because they were seen as scourge. Horde pretty much took them on because of their weapon, "the plague". At least that's their placement in the horde to my understanding.
This may have been said but just as a point towards the flyinging over zones to make it more immersive etc. The flight masters liscence is not available till lvl 60 and the zones that your going to be flying around in are the zones of previous expansions that you've already had previously. It can only be immersive for the people that are doing the newley done classic zones if the cap for the flight masters liscence was lowered to be usable whilst you are actually levelling through these zones.
About sharing accounts... I do share one with my brother. And we're doing just fine - he isn't pve type, so he plays mostly for PvP and we don't have problems with making schedules who can play at what time. And password? I can't imagine that he would be THAT stupid, seriously :f
to be hinest, blizzard should bloody watch it cuz people on the mailbox and tb himself ofcourse make a lot of sense and clearly state what is wrong with the game and how to try and fix it...

Tanking is fine, nothing wrong with tanking. People's attitudes and expectations are why people don't tank. Why tank? To be s*** on every time you make a minor mistake? To have people judge you before you even pull and kick you because your not rolling full epics in a heroic? This applies to heals as well. Bad DPS? No problem the other two guys will pull you through. Average tank? Nope not happening its perfection and all epics or nothing. So why the heck would I want that abuse?

@Xtdg89x I myself play a healer, and I've only had fail tanks a couple of times but I've had fail DPS a lot. I think they average to about 1 in every single pug.
Now ofcourse I can fuck up as well and I am always the first to say so if I do, but more often then not DPS start kicking and screaming and pointing fingers to everyone but themselves whenever we wipe because they forgot to move out of the fire or nuke down adds.
@mikethies0 well i don't know if it is just that i've been lucky or something, but i believe it is also based alot in the tank's attitude. If you're liek silent and mopy and tank your tanking you will be regarded to as passive, so a mistake is recognized with more judgement. I believe i've missed the accusations by being fairly social =)
@mikethies0 I agree just yesterday I got into a heroic on my like 3rd alt ( resto druid) and his ilvl is around 337 so hes not crazy geared but good nuff for hero's. The FIRST thing some one said to me was "Why the hell are you doing heroes with bad gear". Of course this person was rolling in almost all epics with an ilvl of probably around 355. Now i thought to myself how is someone suppose to gear up if people expect them to have better gear then the instance there running.

Sorry but we can't please all. The same with specs. I do HC with a disc healer instead of Holy and I get loads of people complaining that I should be holy to do an HC. Ridiculous.
It's not about being right or wrong, friend. It's about how do you prefer gemming ur tank. At this point there isn't a right or wrong of how you should gem. i just rather gemming for mastery and some stam cause I'm a DK and it fits my play style as I like timing my death strike to get max health and absorbs . Also I have rune of Swordbreaking in my weapon thats gives me a huge parry buff.
the warrior DPS was arguing me that mitigation tanks are much better and that we wiped cause I didn't know how to gem. warriors get something out of parry, but he obviously don't know the DK class very well.
But thats not the point anyways. the point is people don't know how to be polite, educated and most of all, respectful when talking to people they don't even know. I've get a lot of DPS and healers that are not that good and I don't abuse any of them, I try to help them, moron.
@mikethies0 I find tanking a bit boring in HCs definetly its often boring than to be a meleedps while still maxing out your dps over the fight while not dieing /avoiding unnecesary damage. Also zul'gurub i find a lot easier to tank with my warrior then to dps.
I find no challinge in tanking anymore (except for raid end boss especialy alakir.
Alakir is some seroiosly fun stuff sady the loot is the worst end boss loot .
How about making the scroll of recall act like the hearth out/in. Right click the scroll to set your current location, then hearth out. And use the scroll when your ready to go back. I think this would also be a big plus for the crafters of said scroll.
I have a laptop which runs on High for (mostly) everything with little to no problems. TB points out a good point when you sacrficie performance for mobility. If you are an avid gamer, you probably shouldn't be dwelling on a snail of an internet connection or a snail of a computer. Take your coffee breaks at your house, and not live in Starbucks with your mobile MacBooks.

The CtA feature is pretty terrible that it forces you to solo que. No backup from guildies whatsoever? uhhhhg.
Does blizzard not realize just how terrible a huge number of the subscription base is?
I que up for CtA 7 times a week. Getting my valor, and thats it. The satchel barely makes it wroth queing up. And even then half the time, i quit the group depending on which instance it is, and the groups gear. people in craftable pvp gear, ungemmed, unchanted......no thank you.

Thing with the hearth-in hearth-back issue is that the laptop quality wasn't the only point he made: he also pointed out that folk auto-fly and just stop watching. I can run on ultra, and can see the "great views", but I don't care, I just alt-tab and check back now and then until I've arrived at my destination. And I know many who do this, too. It's a time sink, nothing more, and no amount of shiny vistas will make it less so.

Omg i cant stand this anymore. every episode there is some mention of people that are bad and blizzard makes them game easier for them. Lets face it the game is not that hard! In terms of raiding the only thing thats difficult really is healing. You only have to perfect your playsyle for hardmode and some end bosses.

@Guudni Undead/Forsaken are scourge that don't serve the lich king, being former humans they got denied placement in the alliance simply because they were seen as scourge. Horde pretty much took them on because of their weapon, "the plague". At least that's their placement in the horde to my understanding.

This may have been said but just as a point towards the flyinging over zones to make it more immersive etc. The flight masters liscence is not available till lvl 60 and the zones that your going to be flying around in are the zones of previous expansions that you've already had previously. It can only be immersive for the people that are doing the newley done classic zones if the cap for the flight masters liscence was lowered to be usable whilst you are actually levelling through these zones.

About sharing accounts... I do share one with my brother. And we're doing just fine - he isn't pve type, so he plays mostly for PvP and we don't have problems with making schedules who can play at what time. And password? I can't imagine that he would be THAT stupid, seriously :f

Tanking is fine, nothing wrong with tanking. People's attitudes and expectations are why people don't tank. Why tank? To be s*** on every time you make a minor mistake? To have people judge you before you even pull and kick you because your not rolling full epics in a heroic? This applies to heals as well. Bad DPS? No problem the other two guys will pull you through. Average tank? Nope not happening its perfection and all epics or nothing. So why the heck would I want that abuse?

@mikethies0 Tanks are conceited. Its always everyone else fault never them. Majority of dps/heals blame tanks. Tanks are impatient, rude, arrogant, this is what they wanna do so that is what the group does. People don't wanna tank because they have a bad rep in random queues.

@Xtdg89x I myself play a healer, and I've only had fail tanks a couple of times but I've had fail DPS a lot. I think they average to about 1 in every single pug.
Now ofcourse I can fuck up as well and I am always the first to say so if I do, but more often then not DPS start kicking and screaming and pointing fingers to everyone but themselves whenever we wipe because they forgot to move out of the fire or nuke down adds.

@mikethies0 well i don't know if it is just that i've been lucky or something, but i believe it is also based alot in the tank's attitude. If you're liek silent and mopy and tank your tanking you will be regarded to as passive, so a mistake is recognized with more judgement. I believe i've missed the accusations by being fairly social =)

@mikethies0 I agree just yesterday I got into a heroic on my like 3rd alt ( resto druid) and his ilvl is around 337 so hes not crazy geared but good nuff for hero's. The FIRST thing some one said to me was "Why the hell are you doing heroes with bad gear". Of course this person was rolling in almost all epics with an ilvl of probably around 355. Now i thought to myself how is someone suppose to gear up if people expect them to have better gear then the instance there running.

@re1gn1te I totally agree. That's why I did normals til I was full 333 on all slots with the 346 from JP. But still people give me that comment and that's just people being ignorant and stupid. Sorry but we can't please all. The same with specs. I do HC with a disc healer instead of Holy and I get loads of people complaining that I should be holy to do an HC. Ridiculous.

It's not about being right or wrong, friend. It's about how do you prefer gemming ur tank. At this point there isn't a right or wrong of how you should gem. i just rather gemming for mastery and some stam cause I'm a DK and it fits my play style as I like timing my death strike to get max health and absorbs . Also I have rune of Swordbreaking in my weapon thats gives me a huge parry buff.

the warrior DPS was arguing me that mitigation tanks are much better and that we wiped cause I didn't know how to gem. warriors get something out of parry, but he obviously don't know the DK class very well.
But thats not the point anyways. the point is people don't know how to be polite, educated and most of all, respectful when talking to people they don't even know. I've get a lot of DPS and healers that are not that good and I don't abuse any of them, I try to help them, moron.

@mikethies0 I find tanking a bit boring in HCs definetly its often boring than to be a meleedps while still maxing out your dps over the fight while not dieing /avoiding unnecesary damage. Also zul'gurub i find a lot easier to tank with my warrior then to dps.
I find no challinge in tanking anymore (except for raid end boss especialy alakir.
Alakir is some seroiosly fun stuff sady the loot is the worst end boss loot .

How about making the scroll of recall act like the hearth out/in. Right click the scroll to set your current location, then hearth out. And use the scroll when your ready to go back. I think this would also be a big plus for the crafters of said scroll.

I have a laptop which runs on High for (mostly) everything with little to no problems. TB points out a good point when you sacrficie performance for mobility. If you are an avid gamer, you probably shouldn't be dwelling on a snail of an internet connection or a snail of a computer. Take your coffee breaks at your house, and not live in Starbucks with your mobile MacBooks.

So, that forum poster would rather wait 15+ minutes (depending on the level of his/her guild) waiting on a hearth cool-down than taking a 5-10 minute flight back to his quest zone? I actually tend to do the opposite, hearth where I'm questing and fly back to cities. Works well IMHO.

The CtA feature is pretty terrible that it forces you to solo que. No backup from guildies whatsoever? uhhhhg.
Does blizzard not realize just how terrible a huge number of the subscription base is?
I que up for CtA 7 times a week. Getting my valor, and thats it. The satchel barely makes it wroth queing up. And even then half the time, i quit the group depending on which instance it is, and the groups gear. people in craftable pvp gear, ungemmed, unchanted......no thank you.

Thing with the hearth-in hearth-back issue is that the laptop quality wasn't the only point he made: he also pointed out that folk auto-fly and just stop watching. I can run on ultra, and can see the "great views", but I don't care, I just alt-tab and check back now and then until I've arrived at my destination. And I know many who do this, too. It's a time sink, nothing more, and no amount of shiny vistas will make it less so.
