@andrewmcelyea with box you can upload, synchronize and share many more files than gdocs, I'd say is more similar to JoliCloud or Skydrive, but in my opinion box is superior..
@OrenAdler I'd say they are indeed, but box has more online options and I guess is more compatible with other external devices, I also find them much more active than dropbox (in my opinion)
