Mike Henry was always my personal favorite Tarzan. I like the idea of updating Tarzan for the '60's, sans pidgin English and an over reliance of animals. And the mixing of the James Bond/secret agent genre with Tarzan...it just seems natural for the 1960's.
A note: Major the lion in the film, this was his second film with Mike Henry, had become so fond of Henry, when this was filmed Major thought Henry was about to be attacked by the crowd extras playing bad guys, and Major ran to the rescue and bit a extra in the foot.
