you trying to answer the wrong question.... you shouldn't be trying to explain where god came from, because you can only speculate.. the big bang is not by any means proven we only know the universe is expanding, much less the "fact" that life didn't exist in another universe before it and before that. but showing god exist is possible scientifically, you just have to think of every thing as one energy, as science proves...you need not answer the unanswerable for it will always exist in some way

Descartes argues in a circular way. I think I exist -> I think God exists -> God exists, and causes these thoughts in me -> I think therefore I am. This is called a Cartesian circle. It is not a valid argument. He has been proven to be wrong by many future philosophers. His argument is only valid if you're a rationalist, not empiricist. Try reading David Hume, he casts the ultimate doubt.

I know the real dilemma, when debating the subject is the lack of relative comparison. 1. Einstein never supported the Big Bang. He believed in a steady state universe until his death.
2. String theory is HIGHLY controversial in physics with at least half thinking it is unprovable and therefore not even a true theory. that however is changing, but still it is not accepted by anywhere close to 30% much less 70%. Dark Matter and Dark energy are far less controversial.
3. Descarte rationalized everything. Good writer, but poor foundations for life, the universe and everything.

Big Bang cosmology and string cosmology conflict, so why do you accept that the Big Bang theory and String theory are combined?
For instance the Big Bang only predicts 3 dimension and a single universe, but string theory predicts more than 3 dimensions, and multiple universes (multi-verse hypothesis); to say that these two theories are combined would form a self-contradiction.

The number of errors you have made, here, is considerable, however you are on a couple of correct tracks. Statistically, this was inevitable. You should not limit yourself to string theory - you should also examine quantum mechanics. By the way, the Earth's orbit IS decaying, but it's tangential velocity to the sun's gravitic pull is what keeps it from decaying very rapidly. You need to study Jung, also...and as MrTomfooligans says, let the evidence lead you to the answer(s)...

This guy:
1) Googled string theory, big bang theory, and DAY-CAR-TEEZ i am wut i am
theerie.
2) Read 20 minutes-worth of the wikipedia entry for each one.
3) Sat around for a few hours concocting a clumsy, pseudo-philosophical cocktail of these three concepts.
4) Uploaded a nonsensical video to youtube he claims to be "the most profound video ever made"
Mr. Yahay, you seem to have the passion. What you need is education, comprehension and most of all, humility.

All you have is a hypothesis, which from what I understand that the energy that will made the Universe achieved consciousness and that is how you explain God exists. First you need to figure out a way to prove that energy from the beginning of the Universe CAN became conscious by hundreds of scientific tests. Find evidence of this world that this conscious being exists in this world. He is made up of energy therefore he can be proven according to your theory. Then you can make vidoes and talk.

Okay...let's get something straight, here. This is not scientific. A theory cannot be a theory if it is neither testable nor falsifiable. You cannot just throw the word 'scientific' around as a synonym for "makes sense." I'll give it to you, your ideas are provocative, but your "science" is flawed from the outset. You know what your outcome is supposed to be (God as you see Him) and therefore, you are not thinking critically. You let evidence lead you to the answer...not the other way around!

If I'm correct, Descartes(Day-Cart) was the person who said that. He argued that we perceive things like rocks as real because we can observe them with our five senses. However, he also argues that our senses are fallible. Thus what we perceive may or may not be real. However, he is certain that he himself exists because in order for him to doubt his existence, there must be something doing the doubting. Its sort of like the Matrix but without all the action. lol Hope that hlpz

Beleive the lord and live,or doubt him and die: spiritually, not mortally. mortal death matters not.this life is just a test to see whos side you are on. and i f yo beleive all this shit in this video, you are fucked.

WOAH. I never said I believed what this guy is saying. This video is really stupid and I was just telling you the philosophy behind the phrase "I think therefore I am." And actually what you just said, further validates the fact that you exist (According to Descartes). If it still bothers you, look up western philosophy and I'm sure that will explain it better than i can. Peace.
