Saw this on tv last night and loved it. Im gonna have a crack at this one. Went cheese rolling this year but this includes beer so it wins! Nice one all.
However, I'm sure this is 1996, since Peter was still the landlord at the Queens. If memory serves me right the 2000 Dwyle Flonking took place at the Bird & Bush- I organised it

I recognise some old faces from school.And was that Dennis Hunter who was on first? and his brother Darren in the background with the black skirt and beard..none other than King James himself..yes darren played baby king james in Mary queen of scotts when it was filmed at Alnwick castle..not a lot of people know that. I stil call him king jimmy to this day. haha.
This is a very poor rendition and should not under any circumstances be thought to bare any resemblance to real Dwyle Flonking. The true game is vigorous, to music and highly skillful. These people couldn't flonk a dead duck.
