At the top of Glacier Point in Yosemite, they have signs telling you not to feed the squirrels. They would take food from you wither you wanted to feed them or not. They would run at little kids eating, and the kids would scream and drop their food. If it didn't work the first time, they would climb their pants legs. By the way ,they were very pudgy squirrels.

Just to let anyone know, be careful if you feed squirrels like this. If they bite you, they bite hard. Just make sure they don't have an "Alpha" attitude, and you should be Ok.
dude, I've been there too when visiting the castle... Those squirrels were actually gangsta though because a bunch were waiting to be fed when one came out and fought with a few of them until he was the only one there getting food.
haha, this reminds me of when i was on this one no longer active volcano in bend oregon, you could drive to the top of it only to find out that its was inhabited by hundreds of small chipmunks.... there were also grey squirls down in the forests around the mountain and the gray squirls were about 10 times bigger than the chipmunks.
