guys, don't hate on the judges. unfortunately for new school fans, not everyone likes those things as much as you do. many hip-hop fans (and most of the purists) still prefer the foundations. it's HIP-HOP dance championship for crying out loud. personally, Plague was the best for us. don't know why a lot of people can't live with judges' decisions.

i think this team won over request due to the technical aspects. I kinda agree though, whilst this crew is less entertaining than Request, they seemed clean throughout the performance, whereas request was a little messy when they were dragging across the floor.
yeah it kinda sucks. but hip hop international judges have a tendency to give high scores to the crews that include old school shit no matter how lame it is. fly girlz got third last year with a boring ass routine with a lot of boring ass locking. tis a bit of judge bias.

I finished watching all the other medalist first, and thought they were mind blowing performances. So coming to watch the Gold medalist last, i thought that this crew performanc was going to be even crazier than the others..... Im not sayin they can't dance, they're pretty good, but really? First? BS. I even watched it a couple of times for reassurance. Sure, they have fundamentals, and originality, but look at the new school, its more captivating and awing, and most definitely more clever.

Plague well deserved the gold big time they are amazing hands down so is the other crew but request was more of posing dancing like wacking and shit but Plague they brought every element of hiphop thats a routine and they just blow me away every time i see them perform they are very talented and gifted dancers who definitly deserved that Gold.... i'm reading this and i can see "request is mush stronger/meaner and more creative" WHAT?! hip hop isn't just about being hard mean gritty, it all started of in the clubs as a social dance for fun, not in the cypher where you are going to be mean And request and MOST, not all other crews but most use a bit of a song and bits of routine, this forms a routine with loads of little bits in it that's why plague won cause they only used 4 songs with more depth in each part, same for bubblegums win.
Plague are now 2x World hip hop International adult division champions!!. This is only matched by the Philippine All Stars. ReQuest are 1x adult division & 1x varsity champions. Say what you want about Plague but they know EXACTLY what it takes to win. You can have your own opinion on the routine. that's fine, but some of the hate here is just plain ridiculous. I have a lot of respect for ReQuest they're a great crew, but Plague won. I for one, cannot wait for the rematch next year
WHHI just didn't want another New Zealand crew to win man. Much respect, but Request was a lot cleaner, more creative, had much more power. Plague had some pretty cool stunts and moments, though!

my crown is still up. this is a good performance and congratulations on the gold but this crew did not deserve it. the intensity is not as hard. there was a trick or 2 that was cool, but ive seen this all before. i was bored...nothing stuck out. i think they won only because the palace studio won every other category...yet im so dissapointed that request lost to this crew.....but again congratulations.
I think request is really good, they didnt perform well on abdc though. These guys are really good, but i like abdc better because it test crews to full fill challenges, i can tell that request isnt used to that

my crown is still up. this is a good performance and congratulations on the gold but this crew did not deserve it. the intensity is not as hard. there was a trick or 2 that was cool, but ive seen this all before. i was bored...nothing stuck out. i think they won only because the palace studio won every other category...yet im so dissapointed that request lost to this crew.....but again congratulations.

I think request is really good, they didnt perform well on abdc though. These guys are really good, but i like abdc better because it test crews to full fill challenges, i can tell that request isnt used to that

@ISAJirafProductions yeah you like ABDC that lets the "best" dance crew like Iconic Boyz (lmao) get to the finals. Should be renamed Americas Most Popular Crew. I bet you didnt go to the live performances, ReQuest got the most cheers during Black Eyed Peas week and still got bottom 2. ABDC is a joke now like any other reality show that goes past 3 seasons.

@CyprisOwNZ if u trace hip hop back to its roots, perfect choreo doesnt win you a dance battle, wowing the crowd does. Ur right choreo is very important, but you have to mix it up a bit and take your chances on a trick or two. Fundamental dances of hip hop, BREAKING LOCKING AND POPPING

The show has become a popularity contest ever since the only credible judge left, Shane Sparks. Doesnt matter if Iconic Boyz didnt win, the fact that they were close enough to even be mentioned as a top crew in the entire USA is completely stupid.

@ISAJirafProductions Also sure that performance We Are Heroes did was dope, thats crazy doing that in heels, but just because ReQuest hasnt done it doesnt mean they cant, nobody knows until they try or say that they cant. If you wanna do the whole "I bet they cant do this" thing, then ill do one too. Lets see someone from WAH choreograph for 4 Crews and WIN 3 Golds (of only a possible 4) and 1 Silver while being defending World Champs. You dont need flashy tricks to win, just real dancing.

They have fundamentals of STREET DANCE, not "this is fundamentals of hip hop". Hip hop is it's own style, own dance, own culture.
Street Dance is the real umbrella term for street style dances such as; popping, locking, bboying, waacking, hip hop, house etc.
I agree that they showcased the real styles but please, if you are gonna be most liked post. Must get terms right!
