@jerona I recommend you get an sl avatar post in the events listings an interview you would like people to attend and answer questions about thier second lives. Ive attended a few of such similar meetings within sl.
@rloms777 You need a screen capture program. I have a mac so I use IShowUHD. I'm not sure what you'd use on a PC, but just google "screen capture programs". Then you'll need some kind of video editing program.
Don't forget to check out GREENIES & Prim Hearts for their Amusement park :D They did a great job with this video. Boy does this bring back memories! xvxRUBYxvx

As far as a game goes i think second life gets pretty boring after a while and money consuming if you let yourself get away, but i respect the concept of what linden labs have put into this project and feel it will be around for sometime, so i bought some land and entered the real estate business and i rent out my lots at a tidy profit every month which i get a check posted out to me every month so thats what im in it for :o)im looking now to expand on my land ownership.

you actually need.. a really good video card.. dont let the model and enviroment graphics fool u.. there is a lot of stuff in one place which makes it relly lagy and gay if u dont have a good video card or a big enought hard drive.

ONLY criticism - redo the disco scene. Make an establishing shot first from a distance so the close up doesn't seem so spastic.

its not a game its a virtual world with infinite oppurtunities. If youve got the talent u can make real money. Its hard but many people live decently off many they get from second life customers who pay real money
It depends on the sim that you are on if death is on or not. It's not usually as in Sl itself it transports you back "Home" Though the Gorean rp have developed a program where you can either be knocked out for a few minutes or dead for several days and walk around as a ghost.

It seems that some of this footage got "remixed" for a Duran Duran video, fan-made by Teknosapien. I have posted his video on my page and just found this video on yours. Excellent footage you have here, no wonder TEKNO used it for the video of "Zoom In" (Song is about Second Life) I've never had the pleasure of playing Second Life (my G3 Mac won't handle it) so I'm amazed how cool it looks in this video. I may have to upgrade and check it out someday! LOL.

Considering that this was made in April 2006 it rocks, and thanks for posting. As for comments about SL sucks, well yes it gets laggy here and there, but it keeps improving. Also it's not a computer game with computer controlled players, it's social interaction with real people, the ability to create content and express oneself.

Hmm, people remember that Second Life is more of a chatroom than a game, and matzeppo; a game doesnt needs to have shootouts to be great.

It depends on the sim that you are on if death is on or not. It's not usually as in Sl itself it transports you back "Home" Though the Gorean rp have developed a program where you can either be knocked out for a few minutes or dead for several days and walk around as a ghost.

It seems that some of this footage got "remixed" for a Duran Duran video, fan-made by Teknosapien. I have posted his video on my page and just found this video on yours. Excellent footage you have here, no wonder TEKNO used it for the video of "Zoom In" (Song is about Second Life) I've never had the pleasure of playing Second Life (my G3 Mac won't handle it) so I'm amazed how cool it looks in this video. I may have to upgrade and check it out someday! LOL.

Considering that this was made in April 2006 it rocks, and thanks for posting. As for comments about SL sucks, well yes it gets laggy here and there, but it keeps improving. Also it's not a computer game with computer controlled players, it's social interaction with real people, the ability to create content and express oneself.

Yes, It definitely is. It'd be grea to get in on the ground floor to something like this, but only elites can afford the kind of processing and computers it requires to use the system.
