It is amazing how one simple gesture of kindness can brighten up a person's day. I was in Amsterdam for a job interview a couple years ago and was on my way to the location, feeling very nervous because I really needed the job, when someone just stepped out of the crowd with a FREE HUGS sign. I was so relieved I gave him a big hug and my heart instantly lightened and I walked on with so much more confident. I got the job, and to this day the thought alone brings a smile to my face.
