@quickmantan I dunno man; Oasis wouldn't have happened if either of the brothers hadn't been there. I mean can you picture Liam singing Don't Look Back In Anger or Little By Little? Also; can you see Noel belting out the likes of Rock n Roll Star or Morning Glory?
Both of them bring enough to the plate to say it's not Oasis without the other.
As for Liam's song writing; yeah, it's improving but to say Noel's writing slower songs; Did you not hear Bag It Up or Waiting For The Rapture?
to be honest DOYS album was mediocre, it was noels attempt on maing a beatles record, and i think beady done alot better...
99% of the oasis songs wouldnt of took off without liams pressence and voice and looks.. when you go to a gig everyone shouts liam,, noone cares about noel... noel just tells everyone what to do and demands people like him,, he is horible even his own brother and the rest of the band think so..

Flawless. Much better than Oasis have been live for a while. Probably because Liam feels passionately about these new songs and he didn't really connect with the stuff Noel was writing for him.
Like I keep saying, if people do not like it thats fine, but the majority of people that do not like it seem to be into shit music any way ...you can keep the bands in skinny jeans and twangy guitars that are strapped their chins. I'm happy with my rock n roll

Just listen to Caleb Followill to understand how Liam's singing is quite average and ruined by his thorat problems.

Liam, Gem and Andy are awesome songwriters and they came out with this delightful album loaded with some really fun rock tunes.
I am looking forward to hearing Noel's solo album, now! :)
