In Montreal they closed Mirabel Intl airport for "non-sustainability" reasons, to transfer all passenger traffic at P.E.T. airport. They kept Mirabel open for cargo and it costs even more now due to less traffic. All projects to turn the airport into a viable revenue source are systematically refused.

I think Mirabel airport could be used to gather people from Montreal and around. Also for the city of Ottawa. Had military chopper exercises over MTL last fall to.
