You're probably looking at the UX50V. The U80V has a T6500 at 2.1 GHz, but the one reviewers are getting has a T9400 at 2.53 GHz o_O

actually i was looking at the u20a. infact i just bought it the other day and im pretty excited. although the fastest cpu i could find was a 1.3ghz. so i think i will upgrade the cpu on my own eventually.

I have the Asus U81A and love it. The one thing I don't like is that I can't record video with the webcam. it's only usuable with Skype or other similar programs.

The Best Buy U81A model differs from the U80V in that it doesn't have the backlit keyboard/trackpad nor the dedicated 4570 GPU. You get what you pay for.

The U80V is essentially a more expensive version of the U81A with a better graphics card, a backlit keyboard/touch pad, and blue-tooth.

The U81A is cheaper and supposedly has better battery life. So if you're a gamer and willing to pay extra go for the U80V. If you're just looking to use a computer for school/work you're probably better off saving your money.

There's nothing I could find about these laptops' release dates in the US. I'm not even sure it's going to be released in the states, 'cause all the reviews come up with European sites. Also, the stupid ASUS site has them listed under "US" but nothing else. Oh well, their loss, 'cause there are other manufacturers whose products are equally good AND accessible.

ur probably aware of this now, but Bestbuy sells Asus U81A now at a verrrrry affordable price. I think it just released last week. I plan on checking i out at my local bestbuy. I'm pretty friggin excited. haha
