this is a joke when i was in high school i had a car .when i work i had no car .then when i got a new car it was so hard to make the payments . people that work on the job for 5 years have no car
I'm a boomerang kid, I got laid off from my job last year, still not finding anything job related b/c they want related work experience of more than two years(even retail and wait staff) which I don't have so I went back to college to finish getting my associates and I now live with my mom,which sucks b/c I'm 24 yrs & feel like a loser. W/ my unemployment benefits I paid my bills, but now that they are gone I don't know what I'm going to do! It sucks living at home but at least I have some place
My uncle stayed with his paretns into his 40's and full-time employed. He saved for a house and got one himself.It's smart. Italians in Italy live into their 30's because land is expensive, rent high, and employment many times in only part-time even when married. Immigrants do intergenerational living all the time. They re smart and are wealthier overall for it . I live my folks, work, go to school, and get a nice place to sleep with food. What more could you want and live with family.

The economy is an excuse for being lazy and just dumb. Its called being a loser, no matter what excuse you have (besides terminal illness) if you live with your parents your a loser!
Now a days its actually OK to move in with their parents until the economy gets better. I say OK as long as they pay down debt and save up money for the most part. Its hard to call someone a loser for living with their parents if their single, no kids and paying off their debts.
This is what family means to these people? That you shoud treat your child as a renter, boarder, leaser or occupier? How is this generation's parents going to go from "time out" parenting to "tough love".
