That entrance with the tuba, and other low brass just wasn't clean. We played this at a festival, and though I know it was difficult, it's not impossible. And by the way, I don't hear a bassoon. WHERED THEY GO!? They're the best instrument! XD

Yeah, I play String Bass for the FHS Concert Band, at that beggining was weak. We've only got three people doing that for our band, and we're stronger than that.

i play euphonium for my high school wind ensemble. weve been playing this piece for a couple months...that tuba and euphonium sounded pretty lathargic...sorry..it wasnt very great.

Good job out there, this was one of my favorite songs in band. Looks like you could use some more folks in Wind Ensemble, though it could just be the camera angle.

I thought that the trumpet part from 4:02 to the end could have been a little louder, and that the ending was abrupt. Overall, though, I think that this ensemble has a nice sound.

Yikes, the Clarinets and flutes are jumping off that stage like workers at the world trade center. no offense, but when playing Holst, there is no room for failure. when you're done playing a piece like this, people should be in tears. also around 3:30, the eighth note runs were covered up! the moving line must be brought forth more than the white notes. you do seem to have some skilled players though.
