I love Ralph but if he thinks anything that Chrysler built during the last 10 years is going to be a classic he dead wrong. From 2000-2010 Chrysler made some of it's worst cars ever. SRT-4, Last Gen 300, Dodge Viper are the exception to the rule.
@flatblackstrat How is that possible. The SRT-4 is one hell of a platform to build off of. MUCH better than anything the other domestic companies offered. The Charger/Magnum/300 brought back the RWD big bodied V8 family cars. The Viper is just iconic, enough said.
@CharSRT Yes SRT4 was a great platform and offered 0-60 and 1/4 times of any competitor for the same price in the dust. The charger and the magnum were OK cars but interior quality was crap and the ride wasn't that great. The 300 was a pleasant car though when I had one.
@flatblackstrat Definitely appreciate your feedback and insight. Quick FYI on the interiors, starting with the 2011s, there is a big improvement (as you noted above a bit). Have you seen the talk we did with the head of interior design?
@PentastarVideo I have been paying close attention to your new lineup, and I am a car fanatic that stays very in touch with the market, as I grew up in Clarkston down the road from your headquarters. FYI I live in Japan and was patriotic enough to buy a Dodge Nitro as my first new car here. Sadly Yanase Chrysler did not take good care of me along with Chrysler NA, they bought my lemon back at a 4K$ loss to me. If you want to know more I can give more detailed info.
@PentastarVideo But I guess you don't appreciate it enough to here why I got rid of my car and why I will not be buying another Chrysler for quite some time. Keep offering bad customer service and you guys will need another bailout.
@flatblackstrat Youre currrazy, man. 2000 to 2004 gave us the Final Generation LH Cars (300M, Concorde, LHS, Intrepid R/T) which were and still are some of the finest cars EVER to come out of an American Manufacturer. The 300M and Original gen 300C are classics in the making as it is. I'm not a fan whatsoever of the SRT4 but I think at some point down the road they -will- be desirable for collectors just as the Turbo K-Cars became.
@ATCRyderX I didn't like the 300M, the Concorde or Intrepid, they all looked the same. The Intrepid was garbage IMO, poor interior quality and bad reliability. I've owned 3 Chryslers/Dodges 96 Avenger, 04 Stratus, 07 Nitro, all had horrible build quality and terrible reliability, my old man had the first Gen Durango when I was a kid and that was a crap bucket as well. Chryslers lineup is improving by leaps and bounds compared to the Daimler days. I will buy an Imperial if they build it
