It's almost redundant to say how good this thing is, but seeing as how there ARE detractors(I wonder what THEY think is good)I'll say once again that this is outstanding. Not having seen all that many fan films, and with both the excellence of this and the proclamations of its excellence from people who HAVE seen a lot of the fan films, I fear that I'm in for a let down if I watch any others. Any suggestions on the best besides this from frequent fan film watchers?

Actually I think it's more than 100 years after the original trilogy. The first part said this takes place after the fall of the Empire. But the Empire never actually "fell"; it merely became just another small political faction. There WAS, however a second Empire 130 years after the original films. Maybe that's the Empire the prologue was talking about.

The political faction that the Empire became was known as The Imperial Remnant after the Battle Of Endor and the destruction of the second Death Star.

But like you said, they could be referencing the second Empire since the prolouge of the film says "Centuries after the defeat of the Empire".

Decent sets but the acting is lame. The Sith dude looks old and unintimidating. Hot chick though. STAR TREK still (and always will) kick more ass. Try fleshing Star Wars out to 5 tv series and 10 movies. Happen not gonna.

I think the reason why there are no other beings other than humans is that it's a low-budget film, and it would've been tricky to make them look good—they would've looked like Muppets.

Also, it's not logical trying to compare this film to the originals; it's clear that the director didn't mean for it to be the same.

Well personally i dont relate it as much to the movies i relate it more to the video games the way they talked about " battle meditation" the way they use jedi speed and even how he does that meditation to fight harder vs sorran are all from knights of the old republic. If anything the movies are in relation to them not the cinema releases by george lucas. If your such a devout starwars fun tho you should of already picked up on this as im not much of a starwars fan but can put 2 and 2 together.
