@jkonn7 Nah Im good on that. I'll reuse it in my nx when I turbo that at christmas or I'll eventually get around to rebuilding or replacing that motor.
Not much it was just a old not really well maintained car. I think it was 18psi.
I think thats modest. However without a front mount it might not of been to modest :P
Im running a NX2000 now and loving it.
Im contemplating a very hard engine swap to a 46g3 mivic from a evo9. I've got mounting and hooking up the transmission figured out on the eclipe to evo swap.
Now that damn transmission is something else to figure out.
this isnt really "drifting" just more of a jam the brakes and slide, drifting would be pumping the gas and brakes so that you turn sideways and slide while accelerating
first- if you want a drift, go faster into the corner. second- no offense but your bov sounds like a bird is caught in your engine. third- drifting implies sideways. this was more like... i locked the wheels and spun a little as i came to a stop.
Yeah, it's alot harder to do anything in a front wheel drive car. Maybe Im not getting the concept but, how does one gain back tire response back to continue a long slide when the back wheels have no power or control sent to them?
basic fwd drifting: 1- cut the wheel hard into the corner as you pull the e-brake. 2- once the tail slides out release the e-brake as you cut the wheel back. if you hold the e-brake too long you'll spin out, not long enough and you won't get a good drift. its all practice, but its just timing the ebrake. also, if you're about to spin or lose the drift, hit the gas harder to pull the front of the car straight. its saved me a couple of times. hope that helps.
I did another one that has better recording and more comintary to keep you interested. However its simply not as good of a video because nothing great happens. My friend refused to use his e-break for assistance in sliding.
Ill buy the BOV off ya seeing how the motor blew =]
