  • I think that the only thing your doing wrong is not your not whipping your legs and if you swing your arms backward when you sit it gives you more momentum. Also your twisting; trust yourself and go staight back and spring!!!!! I have my back handspring and this really helps!!!!

  • i think urs looks rly good but where i train they say 2 never start from a raised surface unless ur experienced and already hav it cuz if u learn it tht way its hard 2 convert 2 flat level because ur body doesnt lik react 2 ur hands hitting the ground correctly idk tht might not even make any sense lol but anyway tht was rly good!! lol

    OMG!

    The swing only guides the bhs, it does nothing else.

    If you're relying on your swing for power, you need to pay attention to what this old man is saying to the girl in the video.

    You must spring hard off through your legs.

    That is were your power needs to be coming from.

  • that is not the best place and way to do ur back hand spring. More like youre standing back tuck. Try getting a triangle mat (cant remember wat its called right now).

    he should also be teaching u to swing and not just "jump". hope I helped.

  • yes when you do one make sure your arms are tight and dont just throw youor back, make sure it follows with your arms...... and also jump as high as you can.... but dont start with your arms up make sure yo swing them back HARD

  • im in tumbling and i have almost got my back hand spring. u have to through ur arms and give a really big jump. ur arms r supposed to start right straight in front of you and then you swing them back as you jump...it really helps
