Chitt and the "guy munching on a bowl of rice" (his name is Michael Knight ;p) are main characters of the series. :)

Yeah, I did watch Knight Rider ONCE on Bravo (if you don't know that channel, forget I mentioned it) and yeah, I recognised the car immediately thus the show. What I was referring to was the final line.

"One man can change the world!!"

I have a good premonition that was parodied off of somewhere, I'm wondering, if that final line was a parody of something, what that something is. =P

He was black just like KITT, but when he appeard for the second time, he changed his looks, and his chassis was painted in silver. :)

I have all the episodes of the old series, and I often watch them if have a free time. :) I also love the new series with Justin Bruening as son of Michael Knight and new KITT. :)

I hope that NBC will bring the new series back in autumn for second season. :)

thats wrong, the japanese language have k. i speak spanish and the japanes words writed in our chracters readed in my lenguage are pronuced exactly the same that japanese people, for example in the word katon (fire element) in english this sound very diferent but in spanish it sound just like japanese people (but the accent) but anyway in the must of the english words, the sound of k when people use it is very akin to the japanese people´s one, they use "chitt"because of legal rigths

Not in all languages you can exactly translate the phrase "One man can make a differance". For example in my language (Polish ;) ) it's something like "one man can change the world into a better place".

And probably the person which made the subs for the anime didn't watch Knight Rider, or seemply forgot about the phrase. :)
