it is unrealistic the amount of hits you can take. a shot to the leg if not dressed you will bleed out and eventually die ! :D if you dont like how its easy to die buy mw2 .

graphics are good. people criticize this game to much considering the last ofp released was around 8 years ago. so i think that you need to class it as a completely new game unlike cod6 which is backed up by cod 4 and 5.

Anyone else notice the reloading animation for the m16 is wrong? Doesn't exactly spark confidence in a simulator when the animators don't even know the battery of arms on the rifle that the US military has been using for nearly half a century. (and the semi auto version is for sale to civilians in the AR15 form). COD, and the Tom Clancy line of games might be arcade shooters, but judging by the last couple of titles at least they make their animators go to the range.

if you dont use all of the ammo from the last clip, there is still a round chambered, so you would just need to change clips, you dont have to rack it. only if it is a dry reload.

you guys are right, the weapon animations are very poor and fake. the charging handle on the ar15 really only needs to be pulled once. after each mag is empty there is a quick realese button that can be pushed. the recoil of the weapons is also fake along with the hollywood style weapon flashes. as an owner of many guns the weapon animations in this game are pretty shitty.

It seems to me like the makers have put more effort and time into perfecting the PC version. I think i'm just gonna save my money for now. Anyway there are other war games to look forward to :) Including MW2 and Battlefield Bad Company 2.

NOOO NOOO NOOO. Do not buy it man! I was so disappointed by this game. Even if the repetitive gameplay doesn't bore you, there's a sick bug that prevents you getting past Mission 5 in about half of all cases. It's buggy, glitchy and fucking boring. Save the £40 for COD6!

I can highly reccoment you this game. I havent seen any glitches or bugs on the PC version. Don't know about the consoleversion. Go with the pc version of this game, or save money and buy mw2 on console.

when the second grenade go's off (sum 30 meters away), you can hear the schrapnell flying around you! way more realistic then cod, where you can stand 5m close to a exploding grenade while not getting hurt!

The graphics are probably better in CoDMW2 but it's like tsayad1986 said, it's smaller maps wich makes it easier to consentrate on the small details. I think MW2 is going to be better, but that's my opinion.

I know what you guys are saying. i wasn't ripping OP:DR in any way. I finally got my hands on a copy yesterday, and I have to say it was a shock how different it was. It's just a straight-up, stripped down shooter. No cut scenes, no back stories, nothing but combat. The game is a little rough around the edges, but I can easily overlook a few quirks, cause this shit rules! I played 5 hours yesterday before i could force myself to finally walk away.
