I gotta give props to Flowers' acting on this video. I mean it wasn't some Oscar winning dialogue but he did an excellent job showing fustration, pain, jealousy, and dissapointment even if those emotions were only shown seconds at a time. THe "going to bed" parts were really good. Eric Roberts(the older guy) did a great job too!. Theres alot of good acting/drama in this music video and I'm glad they took this approach.

Little known fact, this song came along with Dave Keuning who hooked up with Brandon Flowers in a newspaper advert. Flowers is listed as writing the lyrics, but in several interviews he's admitted that he did not. It fits in well with the Killers later works, so who cares? It's one of my all time favorites after listening to rock for 47 years.

I love this video; I saw an interview with the band about it and they said it was based on what it looks like to fit the song: "Moulin Rouge" And it fits perfectly! I'm obsessed with videos like this, with colourful imagery and Burlesque-style settings (like a lot of Panic! At the Disco and the Fratellis, etc.).
