I would like to ask why you can't put all three of them at 1% health, before killing them in the desired order. Seeing as the enrage timer is not an issue (15 minutes) and the boss buffs are applied upon boss deaths. This would give minimum time for them to cast anything dangerous.

I would also like to ask why Stormcaller Brundir didn't fly into the air, projected by electricity as I have seen while killing him. I had always thought he would this after Runemaster Molgiem died.

When one of the bosses die. They regain full health alongside their new abilities when one dies :).

Once the first one dies, the other 2 go back to full health and get their extra buffs.

as to your second question, their abilities aren't based on who dies, it's based on the number dead before them. ie: he gets lightning whirl immediately after the first one is dead, regardless to who died. since he died second, not last, he never got the chance for lightning tendrils

First off. I have never seen a raid that could keep anything at 1% without killing it. Secondly, the remaining Iron Council member gain 100% health when one of them dies--making your theory a waste of time. Blizzard does do their homework, and knows how players will cut corners.

Stormcaller only gains his lightning arc when he's the last one standing. Just as Steelbreaker gains his meltdown debuff when he's the last one.

@etts1 you probably know this already because your comment was 2months ago but. When you kill 1 the other two regen to 100% health. There abilities are tied to how many of them are left up not which ones are elft up. The small guy only goes up in the air if he is last, its just when killing him last you always kill molgeim second.

well if he uses fraps, you can increase the FPS and have a much better quality. It will also make the video take up more space and requires a very good computer.

Something very fortunate happened on our guild's attempt on this in 10 man not long ago.

After our second tank died the first time, our rogue temporarily got aggro on Steelbreaker and gave him the debuff.

In the split second before Steel struck him down, our tank taunted, and so we had two people with the damage buff and we downed him before either died from the debuff (of course, due to the rogue's insane dps at that point).

I wouldn't suggest using this as a strat though, not at all.

It's a "Pitbull" / "Grid" combination, There is an option in pitbull which allows you to get rid of the party and grid is those blocks, (This is used for healing)

The thing I am unsure about is the kill order in this video. Wouldn't it be wiser to leave Runemaster Molgeim up second and to use the rune of power to your advantage for Steelbreaker in phase 3?

that way you waste a lot of wipes for a perfect rune, my guild tried it that way but we had to waste so much time wiping because positioning was bad with runes or we had a rune of death land on the rune of power. and we also found that the rune of power gave us barely any much of a dps increase, infact we were better without it.

DPS is based over the whole fight. If at one point earlier you hit 6k then with the rune then you hit 9k your dps isnt instantly going to hit 9k. Overall dps has no effect on the dps you pull at any given point in time

i always had meters reset right when the 2nd boss dies. meters said that raid dps was higher without the rune, or it was just about the same. but i'm just sayin, having to rely on the rune to do it isn't worth it

No that would fail. Since steelbreaker does a very high raidwide damage constantly the pressure on healers would be too high when rune of death comes out, it will possibly kill your raid off too quick.

We did it like this, and failed because of Brundir's hammer spin or whatever it is called, instead we killed Brundir first, Molgeim second, and Steelbreaker last. It was MUCH more easy. Why do it like this? It is still hardmode. but MUCH easier

If you're talking about Whirls.. you can interrupt it you know? If you kill Brundir first, Molgeim will spawns green circles people would need to move out of, it's not much harder, but if it spawns on healers and tanks that's tanking steelbreaker, can be a bit tricky
