Whitey, whilst a clever lad, plays down to the lowest common denominator. Most of what he does is on crappy, outdated equipment, so it sounds fresh to the unschooled listener of today. I love when wannabe music snobs know nothing about music. Seriously, I know some of you are in such lust with Robert Plant's voice you don't want to think anyone could compare, yeah he had a great voice...and so does Jack White....and there are times when his vocals are reminiscent of Robert Plant. Not saying they sound the same, just similar qualities, though Jack White's always had his own unique style.

I just can't see how anyone could REMOTELY compare Jack White to Robert Plant. Robert Plants vocals are in a WHOLE other league.
