I remember somewhere between Christmas '98 and 2004 Ty did a concert in Kilgore, Tx (home of the Rangerettes and the east Tx oil boom) and was later the Grand Marshall of their Christmas Parade! Boy those were the days!

Actually, I think I've got a video of us playing "No Mercy". If I can find it, I'll try to upload it. That one was always one of my favorites to play (gave me a chance to use some reverse flange effects on my steel, which can be a really cool sound).

I believe Ty is still performing, but I'm not sure what all he's doing these days. I've not seen or heard anything from the band since I left the group back in 2000.

@lokomotioz I went to one of Ty's concerts a few months back. I love his music and hearing it live again felt so good! He was at the casino in Pocola, Oklahoma. He sings more gospel songs now and has a new CD out. I did buy it and it full of his heart and passion. Not country music but so amazing to hear him with passion in his voice for God. ~Be Blessed~

@twilightlover637 Hi, twilightlover637 ... in answer to your question why I left the band, I really didn't want to, but my marriage was in trouble (life on the road can take its toll on a marriage) and I left the band and music in an attempt to save my marriage. The end result was a failed marriage anyway (my wife and I had just grown too far apart by then), but I did give it a try! :-)
