There are a lot of folk songs in Malayalam language related to our harvesting festival (Onam pattu), the regional snake boat race (Vanji pattu), the life of poor tenants and farmers during the feudal period (Nadan pattu) , the islamic traditions in the north Malabar (Mappila pattu) etc. Of course I can mail you a list of the songs and as many links as available if you could publish your email id.
