@Lumbyful You are absolutely right. There was a mill attached to the women's prison when I was there (2007) in Maple Ridge and the women worked like slaves for four dollars a day. That's not four dollars an hour...but four dollars a day. Which most of the women would give back to the prison through the enormously high prices of all of the items in the canteen which is also privatized.The BC Liberals are onto this big time.
