My goodness. It's a movie. I don't care what country you're from... get over it. Films are made for entertainment. They make plenty of organ harvesting/torture movies about the United States in the horror genre. They make them about Germany, Spain, and other foreign countries, too. Ever heard of Hostel? Brasil isn't a bad place, sure, but it is foreign, and that's enough to cause fear for Americans who went to pay to see the movie. That's the whole appeal for this movie.
I just want to know if this movie is good or not. I flipped through all the damn comments and didn't find a single thing. I only found arguments over where this movie was made. Who cares? It's just a movie! NOW LET ME KNOW IF IT'S GOOD OR NOT!

They make movies in countries like this because it gives it more of a thrill, to me it doesnt mean anything, there are places I wouldnt go, and there are places I would go, despite a movie. I've watched sooo many horror movies in the years and alot of them take place in a forigen country because it makes it scarier. If it toook place in Canada or America, it wouldnt be so scary. Ed Gein had nothing to do with the Leatherface killings. Leatherface was in fact a real character, the videos at the end of the film and in between are real footage. He has never been caught.
The Texas Chainsaw massacre was based on true events, leatherface was supposed to spice it all up and make it more horror like...but they did take place
TTC was based on Ed Gein, who (in actuality) only killed three people---two women, and (allegedly) his own brother, but that was speculation. It was in Wisconsin, and there was no family, no chainsaw, and the what he was into was gruesome, but it's not the same.

They make movies in countries like this because it gives it more of a thrill, to me it doesnt mean anything, there are places I wouldnt go, and there are places I would go, despite a movie. I've watched sooo many horror movies in the years and alot of them take place in a forigen country because it makes it scarier. If it toook place in Canada or America, it wouldnt be so scary. To me anyways. So people need to relax!

Actually, Brasil's average IQ might be even higher than US's, and that is because we actually learn how to think at school and college, not only how to have sex and kill our classmates in a killing spree. Ed Gein had nothing to do with the Leatherface killings. Leatherface was in fact a real character, the videos at the end of the film and in between are real footage. He has never been caught.

TTC was based on Ed Gein, who (in actuality) only killed three people---two women, and (allegedly) his own brother, but that was speculation. It was in Wisconsin, and there was no family, no chainsaw, and the what he was into was gruesome, but it's not the same.

Exactly. Leatherface was a fictional role. While Ed Gein did wear some (let's say) some nasty clothing and did some really sick things, it was different than The Texas Chainsaw Massacre. And he didn't reside in Texas and never killed anyone with a chainsaw.

There everything is beautiful n the hotels are too much comfortable. The food is delicious n the treatment is kindly good.

I'm brazilian and I cant tell ya .. WORST THINGS HAPPENS THERE. Daily murder cases with "cruelty traces", children raped and murdered, old people tortured by them sons, police violence, war for territory(drug dealers have the power of an army) people die every day, we are in a war! civil war! But I NEVER knew of a violence against tourist. Becouse they have a "vip treatment" here, but, do not walk like a rich one - becouse people here is poor and you'll be stolen

Seja lá o que esses parasitas quiseram passar com isso, eles devem ter uma boa explicação por ter nos levado a pensar que o Brasil é o centro das periferias, do criminalismo, e da prostituição, enquanto os EUA é o país perfeito, sem violência, sem guerras, sem bombardeios por todos os cantos...
