Networks "news" should change their genre to Network Opinion Shows.

They all caiter to a certain group. CNN is my favorite, but I'm not about to call them unbias. They tend to keep it middle, moderate/conservative. About as "fair and balanced" as they come though.

Its clear that Olbermann/Mathews were not ousted for a lack of 'objectivity', but b/c they did not fit into the dominate view of what a news reporter 'should be'. They did not supporters the Right Wing and openly criticize the Right Wing. If a right wing, racist, 'constructor of truths' like Bill O'Reily can have a place in American journalism then I see no reason why Olbermann/Mathews cannot. Even if they (like O'Reily) do not always adhere to the highest level of professionalism.

I don't think you understand the distinction. They will still be there as commentators. O'Reilly never "anchors"--he is there to give commentary and opinion--same as Matthews and Olbermann. The problem that needed to be corrected here was that there was no distinction made between anchoring and giving commentary on MSNBC.
