Question of taste. Edward is drowning in make-up, Stephen is totally insufferable and pretty rather than hot. I prefer the vampires of this show. I think Bill isn't that classically good looking but he's so intense it's a killer. (Pun unintended.)

i haven't watch this true blood series..but i think it's a good one too like any other vampire shows on tv..did the girl here named Sookie became a vampire too? is the story based on the book?

No she didn't become a Vampire. His blood helped her to heal. He was saving her life. The show is,LOOSELY based on the Sookie Stackhouse Novels. There are alot of differences and Alan Ball is taking it in his own direction. So that, even though you read the books you won't know how the show is going to turn out. The characters are vastly different from the books. The show is way better than the books. Bill is the best vampire on tv, sexy, deadly, in love with Sookie.

@gerryschristine I agree, the show is getting to be better than the books..but I wouldn't say the characters are 'vastly different'. Sookie, Bill and Eric are basically the same. Sam, Jason and Tara are different tho. Sam is my favorite character, I'm glad he has a much bigger role in the show than in the books. And I think Eric is really more of the 'bad boy' than Bill is lol. This is a great video tho, thumbs up!

sookie is not like bella in twilight. sookie doesn't want to become a vampire. and she doesn't like it when bill the vampire is beeing overprotective of her.

anyways.. sookie is special too bcuz she can hear thoughts, so she understands how the vamps feel about beeing different.

and the serie is based on many books, yes.
