  • what does op mean?this isnt from film this was recorded on video tape by cbs, video tape was used by the tv stations going back as far as the 1950s.

  • thank you for your clear video. Jimmy Connors!

  • What is the clothing brand Jimmy was wearing?

  • When tennis was king!

  • Of course, if he completes hitting the ball before even being in the air above the center mark on the wrong side of the court it's ok. This is very hard to judge.

  • Actually I meant how close he serves on the deuce side.

  • great highlights, 2 great champions.

  • thank U

    thank U

    thank U.....

i really would rather watch this ......

than so called, "modern era" tennis.....

    to me,

it's people like Connors, Borg, McEnroe, Nastase, Laver, Rosewall, Newcombe, Sampras, Agassi, Courier, Becker, Wilander, Lendl, Curren......

i guess the racquet technology has changed the game sooo much....that....

it just blurrs some lines for me....(personally)

if U know whut I mean.... ha ha

  • Sampras and Agassi are " modern era" tennis so I don't understand your point. I loved watching McEnroe and Connors play but I can also appreciate Federer and Nadal play. Great tennis is great tennis no matter what the era. As far as racket technology is concerned Federer uses a racket that is pretty similar to the the Wilson Pro Staff that Sampras, Courier, Evert, (Connors briefly) Edberg and many others used that came out in 1984! Federer is great because of his talent, not his racket.

  • depends on your frame of reference, i guess.

    it's just an opinion.

    i don't claim to be a "tennis authority"....ha ha.

    just a fan.

  • I understand. Thanks for a being a good sport. and I appreciate your opinion.

  • hell, we both love tennis, right ??

    and that's a good thing.

  • Is that Arthur on the commentary???

  • yes it is.

  • what a match! Great quality on this video too.

  • video quality is incredibly good even if it's an old match. great
