yeah its very very buggy.. in certain cases I needed to use a cheat to finish the mission since I got magically killed by invisible enemies. In an other instance I played the whole mission without support of transport or artillery (bugged)... took me hours to take out a t72 tank :(

no, it was a rocket or rpg or whatever. no matter which line i crossed either by foot or car... i got killed instantly no enemies no nothing! I had to cheat my way passed the level to be able to continue.

yea true, im a BIS fanboy since OFP but i admit its buggy.

The gameplay is still worth it though =)

with the latest patches its less bugs now but still some CTDs, graphical errors and maybe some odd bugs you may come across but almost no gameplay-breaking bugs anymore compared to when the game first came out.

it was because (most likely) they dident see them and didn't hear them (silencers duh), they didn't see them because they didn't know where to look... because to them it seemed to becoming out of nowhere. and no the AI is not dumb XD

I had in arma 1 that the screen lags behind the movement of the mouse?

Or can set mouse-sensitivy or something like that, to make it react instantly to your inputs with the mouse?

It's not lag. It's called floating point and is a feature of the game.

Yes. Single player, multi player and the most powerful mission editor around. You can create your own MP gametypes or missions real fast (simpler ones anyway) and jump in with mates and have fun. Everything is possible in ARMA2. Thats one of the beauties with ARMA. :)

Graphics looks great however the enemy ai looks very weak dont seem to act in a realistic manner or respond at all tbh.

You shouldn't run that much. Be patient and walk, then you get alot less tired and you can aim alot better.

Looks VERY weak!

Even the weakest COD KI shoots back. This OPFOR guys dying without single shot fired.

They should go for cover, fire at bushes and throw smoke and fire signal missles.. survivors should hide. Careful movement to next cover if your team members are dead.

Instead - target practise for the player.

I'm not buying this game for 50€ because of this vid.

Dude, those are fixed for the 505 release. The AI being unresponsive in SOME situations. I will happily spend my 50€ for the 505 release, which is the real release you should make your judgements from.

so this is the "micro" AI? :D looks like the weak point of ArmA2, but the only one so far. I'm gonna buy the game even with that crappy AI. I'm sure BI will improve it soon. If not, there is still multiplayer mode that I'm awaiting especially! :D

Not really, the dialog is English, only the User Interface is in german, as you can clearly see on the left hand side.

The 'english patch' is supposed to add english in the User Interface.

Very cool, love seeing the Chenerus forests and environment. Very reminiscent of OFP with that eastern European feel. I cant wait to play this game and take in what the environment has to offer.
