  • LOVEHIM,

  • The barely supressed fury in this track is almost frightening. I applaud Plan B's versatility and hope he continues to explore new creative avenues. Quite literally, brilliant.

  • looking at this he must have put on about four stone........he'll end up like barry white

  • This is genius.

  • this song should be USA's national anthem

  • 1:56 shaun ryder lookin like the Godfather.

  • Plan B in 1 word: Gifted

  • In terms of sheer emotion, this is the best live performance of all time

  • i don't get it what does he mean "no more eating for them now" does it means he's killed them?

  • @dolly32112 nah he has knocked out their teeth

  • @dolly32112 Eating is English slang for robbing people. Looking for something to eat is looking for someone to mugg.

  • @RKOzza you'll see how!

  • @RKOzza you'll see how!

  • his music is just amazing if you really concentrate on his lyrics all of them tell his life story even his new ones. he really means what he sings.

  • people that like songs like 'she said' need to see this, great talent

  • this is miles away from the crap he sings now, sold his soul to the man...waste of talent

  • only heard of these guys cos of a advert for new album , spent 2 days downloading it all lol hes shit hot , best brittish act out there by far , had gone off rap till i heard him , good mix of music rap and truth keep it coming

  • thought this song was called eatin

  • Who thinks he got bullied as a kid?

  • he means this song.. there is passion in it

but what is this new shit ?

  • what a load of shite!

  • @mdwacka you are obviously into the likes of aquas barbie girl and shit like that.

  • @dshine1983 ur right obviously if i dont like this rap shite the only music i can like is barbie girl, u ignoramous. try listening to his recent album, stevie wonder, ray charles, wilson pickett actual well written great acoustics rather than a mockney trying to be black. innit geezer!

  • fail.

  • The best live performance, of any singer, of any band, of any song, that I've ever seen. Plan B is a genius. His passion and creativity about his music shows that he means every single song that he sings. This is 110% better than the original.

  • @powerhousechipmunk23 you sir, are and idiot.

  • is this singing?

  • @KJkiller18 idiot

  • @mewiseman94 no, he's the idiot...

  • This song is crap...what is there to like about purposeless gratuitousness? Don't reply telling me "It's supposed to be shocking dumbass" because I'm well aware of that being the case. But WHY make a song shocking? Is it to emphasise the brutality of street crime? Again, WHY? It's not like the British public aren't aware of the delinquency of today's British youth...so why sing a song about it? The answer is that this song is shocking people for the sake of shocking people. Utterly pointless.

  • @rabadooda this song went way over your head didnt it?

  • @atticus712 No, it didnt go over my head - but your comment certainly did. Because of this, I won't bother replying.

  • @rabadooda people can only speak about what they know.

  • @rabadooda so every song that isn't original its pointless?

  • @Adams1BigJockKnew No, retard - my point was that his rapping is designed to be shocking/poignant under the pretense that it holds some deeper meaning. In actuality however, its just pointless and shit.

  • @rabadooda matter of opinion ya tube u think its pointless n shit, your real problem is you dont like the guy and are finding problems with his style of music

  • @Adams1BigJockKnew A good lesson to learn is that some opinions are more important than others. For example, most people percieve that Albert Einstein's opinions weremore valuable than the vast majority of opinions because they were intelligent and well-informed (they were also highly original). The opinion that "all opinions are equally valid" is possibly the most ignorant and vacuous of all. As for excellent evaluation of my disdain of his "style of music", you are absolutely correct.

  • @rabadooda ur a funny cunt

  • @FCMillwall81 Stop trying to make me look at this video from the point of view of someone who has experienced the "harsh realities of the ghetto". I don't give a fuck, simply because I think making a "social commentary" about punching someone in the face is pointless. Not poignant. Not clever. Not meaningful in any way. Why does it matter that you can relate to this song?' You don't need a song to explain to you that there are bad things that happen in the world.

  • Comment removed

  • @rabadooda stop hating on him and just listen and got eat or how about don't listen at all jeezeee.

  • @FCMillwall81 Its pretty obvious that Plan B is capitalizing on all the wannabe gangsters (in the same way that Eminem did - but with far less talent) by writing songs complaining about how miserable his life has been. What he fails to realize is that virtually everyone carries emotional burdens, regardless of social class. He needs to stop whining about how shitty everything is because all it does is perpetuate the heartache. If the music sounded half decent I wouldn't care about the lyrics.

  • @FCMillwall81 Why did you delete your comments? They were fair points. Still, I think your assertion that it is "the intrinsic requirement of a capitalist society to have a working/underclass which perpetuates the heartache" is a bit too far. Do we need a working class? Yes. Does that working class need to perpetuate the heartache? No (its just the by-product of a lack of education). People want something they can identify with - I'm saying the smart thing to remove yourself from the negatives.

  • Comment removed

  • @FCMillwall81 I'm not disputing whether there is inequality in the world (of course there is). I am merely disputing whether Plan B writing a song about punching someone's teeth out has any meaning. The problem is that it incites violence (glorifies it whether intentionally or not) and adds to the negativity of the culture. Its similar to how the news reports on increased knife crime, which leads to a more paranoid society, which leads to more knife crime. Understand?

  • @rabadooda this is autobiographical. The final song on the album is called who needs actions when youve got words and he says how now he knows he doesnt have to fight and its better to use words. the album takes you on a journey. I dont think he is condoning the violence here.... its just where hes been.

  • @FCMillwall81 To be more specific, I just don't like the way he thinks the song should be taken seriously. Why should it be taken seriously?

  • at 2:11 he sounds JUST like eminem!

  • killing in the name of ha

  • proper gives u shivers down ure spine this performance!!

  • @fizz131 it really does

  • He could rap, and sing rock on the same track

  • Plan b is a REALIST...SKILLS

  • Wow.

This guy has so much talent.

    Amazing.

  • all music nowadays is the same, people blendin.. the UK scene needed someone to come through and break boundaries

  • People are saying this song was too heavy for the audience? The whole aim of this performance being so heartfelt was to shock his audience, a lesser song would not of achieved this...I think this is why he left the swearing and the shouty bits in rather than editing it, makes it more raw and believeable. Such an intense performance, makes your hair stand on end just watching through a screen, forget being there....

  • I remember seeing this on Channel4 years ago...still gives me shivers.

Shame his recent work isnt as powerful :(

  • i love the honesty in this song, well written, well performed .. the guy has talent.

  • he obviously has been infulenced by a wide range of music, truly amazing

  • this song is amazing even tho i dont like this type of music but plan b is different

  • Sick! Shame he has gone all commercial and singy when we all thought he didn't care about that...

  • he dosent he started off singin soul hes just gone back to his roots

  • bullshit, he can do what he wants. he started off writing songs and singing anyway.

  • Fuck of cunt.

  • Seriously, he just blew my mind, I had written him off completely, that was so fucking real.

  • brilliant singer and song write, says what he wants and dosent care. i love him, so much personality, he's real and hasnt changed because of fame. AND how many grime artists do you know that play guitar? ;)

  • i couldn't agree more, most artist's just want to be big & wel known, all this bloke seems to want to do is get his word across

  • he isnt a rapper that raps for money, he raps to show us that he gives a shit what he sings about, talented and rare we need more people like him, the lyrics mean something, he sings about real things, bot about his hoes, he sings about his problems and hes not scared to say what he thinks about stuff

  • He's unreal. to stand there & rap an provide your own music. not seen another rapper do that?

    talented & origional

  • no fuckin about

  • some amount of emotion in his voice...its epic mate

  • truly amazing, he will change the face in music, u know why? because he gives a shit about what he sings about

  • Very true.

  • @y05cahillj I don't think he's going to change anything about music. It's sad, because I wish he could.

He is nothing but a genious. He deserves every award available. I've seen nothing like this in my life.

  • @Stupidian151 you sir, are a fucking moron

  • @y05cahillj 31 likes, I think this guy and this performance are great, his Rapping whilst playing the guitar is great, his new motown sound is great but... Change the face of music!! How? He's not the first to sing with passion

  • a pikey is a irish no good travvellller !!

  • asif hees been on e4 thaught he was to contaversial for it me like

  • He nailed that a treat!

  • man much respect to this guy for coming out and just slammin this song out amazingly in front of these strangers lol

  • he is so angry!

  • this guy rules!! rap and guitar what a combo!!!! couldnt ask for much more :)

  • this is amazing!!

  • ok cheers. Saw it as someone eating him to get fed metaphorically though. Shouldn't have chucked the word bullies in, cos he only says he gets his bike nicked. must admit i didn't know it was a slang word for getting mugged specifically. fairplay.

    The performance is immense

  • his stuff with chase & status is bangin

  • excellent, he is better live...

  • ate= london slang for mugged

as in a mugger remarking upon a would be victim "im going to eat him"

  • It's not drugs. It's 'ate' as in eaten off a plate. As in bullies getting their fix by beating him up. The songs about him getting beat up when he was younger and not fighting back, but now the tables have turned, no one tries it anymore but if they do he's up for it. He's got the hump basically. It's class

  • No its not lol.

    Getting ate is gettin mugged

  • @tricornofpompey

he's writting in a persona mate

  • "started when i was 8, first time i ever got ate, what a piece of cake" what a ridiculous man....

  • wow ur so bad

  • ? what a ridiculous comment you just put

  • youre an idiot you really are you fuking idiot gypsies in england generally are irish yer so shutup

  • pykies in england generally are irish...yes. irish people in england generally are pykies...no. that was my point, please try and utilise whatever intellect you have before replying.

  • a pikey is an irish gypsy, so all pikeys are irish otherwise they would just be gypsys. i wouldnt call them pikeys if i was you buddy ;) dont call them a nacker either because youll get a slap across the chops

  • i know what a pikey is.

  • my question wasn't even aimed at you, it was aimed at someone who put "what a joke"

  • siccckk

  • i still aint got no buck... you're no bulletproof vest. <<<thats such an ace line! some people slate this song but it has such meaning and you can relate to it more than all this media hyped crap.

and you can see his emotions when hes playing!

    some good stuff

  • bucky or no bulletproof vest ..

  • no its not. thats what all the lyrics websites say. but thats wrong. listen to it 2:00

  • he says it without hesitating, thats why it sounds like that.

  • Brilliant

  • hadouken killed this song.

  • go finger urself with a glow stick....

  • just to clear things up, i meant 'kill' as in 'totally ruin'. hadouken turned a song from the heart, about growing up in a troublesome place, into a disco song aimed at 15 year-old boys that wear fluorescent green pants.

  • I agree man, I wasn't into their remix

  • absolute joke
