Saddam was a puppet for the US in the 80's, he did gas the kurds with chemical weapons given to him by the Reagan admin, you should look up the photos where he's hand shaking with Donald Rumsfeld. He invaded Iran using weapons supplied to him by the US. He might have kept Iraq stable for a while but he was pure scum. @SkyxN3t I actually agree 100% with you, & I did not think much of him despite his support for Palestine precisely because of what you said which is very well known. I sided with him the second he resisted the US (yes I know it was not much) but he could've accepted the 100s of offers to take a ton of money & leave, I remember Russia offering him political asylum with all the money as he can carry & he refused & insisted to stay & fight the invaders. People change & he repented & died a hero.

Well you *might be right, people do change, before the US invaded Iraq, In the fall of 2000, Saddam wanted to convert Iraq's oil exports to the Euro so that might have been *one* of the reasons Iraq was invaded and of course Israel has a major involvement in the Iraq war considering that high ranking officials in the Bush admin were Israeli Zionists and religious Christian Zionists.
