  • oh hey i like the lid shape around 2:05 i like the little divit in the middle, it could serve as an additional little space to put something. perhaps a single garlic clove after being peeld but befor it goes in the cooking dish :) Garlic FTW!

  • Very nice. The other pottery around your studio looks awesome too.

I enjoyed your background music especially the rockin' 80's stuff :)

  • I am having a rotten time getting the hang of throwing off the hump in general, and lids specifically. If you have time to do a video on that, I would REALLY appreciate it. I love the lids you make, and I think my throwing "style" (ROFL!) is pretty close to your's.

  • I can try. I have a few demos in progress. I want to show the stages through glaze firing. Currently I am busy making wares for vendor show in two weeks. Thanks.

  • Wonderful work! I love the lids, I've only made one to date, so maybe I'll give them a go tomorrow and try it "your style"!

  • I throw slower!

    Great one!

  • Em, it's on Fast Forward in most of the parts! ... so I throw slower too!

  • 1 1/2 pounds of clay. Cylinder raised to 5 inches with 3 to 3 1/2" opening.

  • yum, garlic :D

  • Rapidac,

Great video! I like how you threw many different styles of lids off the hump. Pretty sporty closed-off handle ya made there.

  • love it... I'm so jealous... I haven't had time to do anything for a while. Nice stuff
